Quran lists 20 "bad traits" of Jews
Muslim cleric says this explains why they were driven out of home countries....
The following inflammatory, anti-Jewish comments, made by a leading Muslim cleric, were posted in the 2004 World Net Daily on April 6, 2004.
A leading Muslim cleric who once issued a fatwa declaring Jews "apes and pigs" says the Quran lists 20 bad traits of Jewish people.
Sheikh 'Atiyyah Saqr, former head of the Al-Azhar Fatwa Committee, responded March 22 to the question in an IslamOnline.com chat room, "What, according to the Quran, are the Jews' main characteristics and qualities?"
Al-Azhar, in Cairo, is Sunni Islam's most important institution.
The sheikh listed one positive trait of the Jews and then 20 bad traits, reports the Middle East Media Research Institute, or MEMRI.
The bad traits, he said, are fabricating; listening to lies; disputing and quarreling; hiding the truth and supporting deception; rebelling against the prophets and rejecting their guidance; hypocrisy; wishing evil on people; feeling pain at others' happiness and feeling happiness at others' afflictions; rudeness and vulgarity; murder of innocents; mercilessness and heartlessness; breaking promises; cowardice; and miserliness.
In discussing these bad traits, Sheikh Saqr wrote, "We would like to note that these are but some of the most famous traits of the Jews as described in the Quran. They have revolted against the divine ordinances, distorted what has been revealed to them and invented new teachings which, they claimed, were much more better than what has been recorded in the Torah.
"It was [because of] these traits that they were not warmly received in all the countries where they tried to reside. Instead, they were either driven out, or lived in isolation.

The Quran and your Allah have done nothing more than outline the shortcomings of EVERY human being. We are ALL guilty of having "revolted against the divine ordinances, and distorting what has been revealed to us, etc. Take a look at your own "final prophet" Muhammed, who personified human shortcomings: He stole, murdered, and had sex with a nine year old child. And don't forget, he was originally thrown out of Mecca for rebelling against the accepted religion of that time.

The Jews are YHVH's Chosen People and it was He who punished their transgressions. Only OUR God didn't HUMILIATE the Jews; He simply blinded them to the Truth and scattered them throughout the nations:
Deuteronomy 28:64 "Moreover, the LORD will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other end of the earth; and there you shall serve other gods, wood and stone, which you or your fathers have not known.
Ezekiel 5:12 'One third of you will die by plague or be consumed by famine among you, one third will fall by the sword around you, and one third I will scatter to every wind, and I will unsheathe a sword behind them.
Ezekiel 22:15 "I will scatter you among the nations and I will disperse you through the lands, and I will consume your uncleanness from you.
Ezekiel 36:19 - "Also I scattered them among the nations and they were dispersed throughout the lands. According to their ways and their deeds I judged them.
Amos 9:9 - "For behold, I am commanding, and I will shake the house of Israel among all nations as grain is shaken in a sieve, but not a kernel will fall to the ground.

"All this gives us glad tidings of the coming victory of Muslims over [the Jews], as soon as Muslims cling to strong faith and belief in Allah and adopt modern means of technology."

According to the BIBLE, it is believers in YESHUA HA'MASCHIACH (Jesus Christ) who will have the victory; not people who serve gods whose "words of wisdom" were supposedly given to a thieving, murdering pedophile during epileptic seizures: Please see The Signs of Christ's Return and The Book of Revelation.

Explaining the discrepancy between the Jews' bad and good traits, Saqr added: "The Quran [devoted] a considerable [number] of its verses to talking about Jews [and] their personal qualities and characteristics. The Quranic description of Jews is quite impartial, praising them in some occasions where they deserve praise and condemning them in other occasions where they practice blameworthy acts. Yet the latter occasions outnumbered the former, due to their bad qualities and the heinous acts they committed."

Saqr then lists the following 20 "bad traits" of the Jews, as they appear in the Quran:
1. "They used to fabricate things and falsely ascribe them to Allah. Allah Almighty says: 'That is because they say: We have no duty to the Gentiles. They knowingly speak a lie concerning Allah.' (Al-'Imran: 75) Also: 'The Jews say: Allah's hand is fettered. [But it is] their hands that are fettered and they are accursed for saying [Allah's hands are fettered]. Nay, but both His hands are spread out wide in bounty. He bestoweth as He will' (Al-Ma'idah: 64) In another verse, Almighty Allah says: 'Verily, Allah heard the words of those who said, (when asked for contributions to the war): 'Allah, forsooth, is poor, and we are rich! We shall record their words with their wrongful slaying of the Prophets and we shall say: Taste ye the punishment of burning!' (Al-'Imran: 181)

They used to fabricate WHAT things and ascribe them to Allah? Jews never even THOUGHT about Allah in one way or another, since their God is YHVH. That the Jews supposedly say, "Allah's hand is fettered, etc." is hearsay, especially since the Jews don't ever THINK about Allah! Those words are nonsense.

2. "They love to listen to lies. Concerning this Allah says: 'And of the Jews: listeners for the sake of falsehood, listeners on behalf of other folk.' (Al-Ma'idah: 41)

3. "Disobeying Almighty Allah and never observing His commands. Allah says: 'And because they broke their covenant, We have cursed them and hardened their hearts.' (Al-Ma'idah: 13)

As mentioned above, the God of the Jews is YHVH. It was YHVH who gave them the Torah and the Tanach (the one that Muhammed "borrowed" some of his Quran from, and then twisted the Scriptures....). It's amazing how closely some of the Quran resembles the Torah that was given to the Jews about 3,500 years ago! The Quran was written approximately 600 years AFTER Christ - so it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who copied from whom.....

4. "Disputing and quarreling. This is clear in the verse that reads: 'Their Prophet said unto them: Lo! Allah hath raised up Saul to be a king for you. They said: How can he have kingdom over us when we are more deserving of the kingdom than he is, since he hath not been given wealth enough?' (Al-Baqarah: 247)

5. "Hiding the truth and supporting deception. This can be understood from the verse that reads: '… [They] distort the Scripture with their tongues, that ye may think that what they say is from the Scripture, when it is not from the Scripture.' (Al-'Imran: 78)

6. "Rebelling against the Prophets and rejecting their guidance. This is clear in the verse: 'And when ye said: O Moses! We will not believe in thee till we see Allah plainly.' (Al-Baqarah: 55)

7. "Hypocrisy. In a verse, we read: 'And when they fall in with those who believe, they say: We believe; but when they go apart to their devils they declare: Lo! we are with you; verily we did but mock.' (Al-Baqarah: 14) In another verse, we read: 'Enjoin ye righteousness upon mankind while ye yourselves forget (to practice it)? And ye are readers of the Scripture! Have ye then no sense?' (Al-Baqarah: 44)

YOU are the ones who are hypocritical because you are adhering to outright lies. The Quran was "born" some 600 years AFTER Yeshua died on the cross. He was the Final Sin Sacrifice. Muhammed was a false prophet from Satan who has managed to deceive ALL of you! You want to talk about hypocrisy? Hypocrisy is YOU spouting that Islam is a "religion of peace" and then hijacking planes to kill 5,000 innocent Americans! Hypocrisy is telling the world that Islam loves peace, and then shouting "Death to America" - a country whose own citizens are presently dying to afford YOUR people democracy! If Islam were really peaceful, then why does it teach that anyone who leaves Islam must be given a chance to convert back, or face execution as an apostate? If Islam is peaceful, why is it responsible for most of the world’s terrorism? If Islam is peaceful, why is it that while Muslims are free to preach their religion in the USA, it denies the right of Christians to preach the Gospel in Muslim lands?

8. "Giving preference to their own interests over the rulings of religion and the dictates of truth. Allah says [to the Jews]: '...When there cometh unto you a messenger (from Allah) with that which ye yourselves desire not, ye grow arrogant, and some ye disbelieve and some ye slay?' (Al-Baqarah: 87)

Again - nonsense! If you are referring to the "prophet" Muhammed, then I suppose we ARE guilty. We refuse to believe in someone like Muhammed whose "scriptures" make no sense and aren't from God.

9. "Wishing evil for people and trying to mislead them. This is clear in the verse that reads: 'Many of the People of the Book long to make you disbelievers after your belief, through envy on their own account, after the truth hath become manifest unto them.' (Al-Baqarah: 109)

Could you give us some specifics? Last time I checked, it was the JEWS who suffered immeasurable suffering over the centuries! HOW and WHEN have the Jews "misled" others?

10. "They feel pain to see others in happiness and are gleeful when others are afflicted with a calamity. This is clear in the verse that reads: 'If a lucky chance befall you, it is evil unto them, and if disaster strike you they rejoice thereat.' (Al-'Imran: 120)

What silly, childish accusations! Would the REAL God lie about His Chosen People? Allah might, but Yeshua wouldn't. After all, Allah is the type of God who expects his people to die for him, while Yeshua died for US! 11. "They are known for their arrogance and haughtiness. They claim to be the sons and of Allah and His beloved ones. Allah tells us about this in the verse that reads: 'The Jews and Christians say: We are sons of Allah and His loved ones.' (Al-Ma'idah: 18)

I'll give you that much: we Jews DO have somewhat of a reputation. Can you blame us after everything that we as a nation have been through - and SURVIVED? But, when did the Jews EVER claim to be sons of Allah? Jews have always worshipped YHVH. Messianic Jews who believe that their Messiah has come, worship Yeshua (the "Son" of YHVH - an aspect of God who died for us). THAT is who we are "sons" of! We are NOT sons of a god who expects US to die for HIM!

12. "Utilitarianism and opportunism are among their innate traits. This is clear in the verse that reads: 'And of their taking usury when they were forbidden it, and of their devouring people's wealth by false pretences.' (An-Nisa': 161)

13. "Their rudeness and vulgarity is beyond description. Referring to this, the Qur'anic verse reads: 'Some of those who are Jews change words from their context and say: We hear and disobey; hear thou as one who heareth not, and Listen to us!, distorting with their tongues and slandering religion. If they had said: We hear and we obey; hear thou, and look at us, it had been better for them, and more upright. But Allah hath cursed them for their disbelief, so they believe not, save for a few.' (An-Nisa':46)

14. "It is easy for them to slay people and kill innocents. Nothing in the world is dearer to their hearts than shedding blood and murdering human beings. They never give up this trait even with the Messengers and the Prophets. Allah says: '… And [they] slew the prophets wrongfully.' (Al-Baqarah: 61)

Oh really? Again, the REAL God wouldn't LIE - especially about His Chosen People - the people to whom He gave the Torah. Jews KNOW His Commandments! How many MUSLIMS know God's Commandments? Apparently not too many, or else they wouldn't go around bombing innocent people to prove their superiority. MUSLIMS seem to find the killing of innocents easy, because they do it all the time. How many Jews have been in the news for hijacking planes and using them and their passengers as explosive devices? How many Jews were involved in the Spain train bombings? How many Jews have strapped explosive devices around their waists and casually walked into a bus filled with Muslims? You want to talk about killing innocents? Re-read number 7, above. It is the MUSLIMS that are responsible for most of the world's terrorism and the killing of innocents! Check the newspapers of the last 25 years or so....

15. "They are merciless and heartless. In this meaning, the Qur'anic verse explains: 'Then, even after that, your hearts were hardened and became as rocks, or worse than rocks, for hardness.' (Al-Baqarah: 74)

18. "Cowardice and love for this worldly life are undisputable traits [of the Jews]. It is to this that the Quran refers when saying: 'Ye [Muslims] are more awful as fear in their [the Jews'] bosoms than Allah. That is because they are people who understand not. They will not fight against you in a group save in fortified villages or from behind walls. Their adversity among themselves is very great. Ye think of them as a whole whereas their hearts are diverse.' (Al-Hashr: 13-14) Allah Almighty also says: 'And thou wilt find them greediest of mankind for life and (greedier) than the idolaters.' (Al-Baqarah: 96)
