The following e-mail was sent to Congregation Beth El-Keser Israel concerning their stance to become "politically correct" about homosexual issues:

Dear leaders of Beth El-Keser Israel:

I just finished reading an article about your recent decision to become "politically correct" concerning homosexuals, and was wondering why you've come to a decision that totally goes against Torah? Since when has being "politically correct" become more important than the WORD OF GOD?

Leviticus 18: 22 "You are not to go to bed with a man as with a woman; it is an abomination.

Leviticus 20: 13 "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable."

Deuteronomy 22: 5 "A woman is not to wear men's clothing, and a man is not to put on women's clothing, for whoever does these things is detestable to ADONAI your God.

Ecclesiates 12: 14 For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.

What part of "abomination" and "detestable" do you not understand? Whom do you follow? Are you a synagogue of God, or of Satan? Yes, we are to love our fellow man, but loving him does not include allowing or encouraging him to live in sin.

The article said: A mother of three daughters, Grazier-Zerbarini shares parenting with her lesbian partner. The synagogue's acceptance of its gay and lesbian members is not just important for gay people, she said. "It's a benchmark issue that is indicative of a progressive community," she said. "It seems to me inevitable that gay men and lesbian women will be included in the Conservative movement, including clergy."

Perhaps someone needs to tell her that, just because it might be "progressive" and "inevitable" that "gay men and lesbian women will be included in the Convervative movement" - that doesn't make it right in the eyes of God! God's Word, after all, is ALL that counts. The moment the word of man becomes more important in a synagogue, that synagogue needs to be shut down because it is an ABOMINATION to God!

We at The Refiner's Fire would urge you to reconsider your public stance to "stop discriminating" against homosexuals. "Discrimination" would be refusing to allow into your synagogue a person of another color. Homosexuality, on the other hand, is a DELIBERATE choice to sin against God. You are committing a sin by trying to be "politically correct", basically enticing them to make BEKI their synagogue home, and simply accepting them without telling them that their lifestyles are not in keeping with Torah. So, in effect, the homosexuals you cater to are causing you to sin, as well! In Leviticus 10, God killed the sons of Aharon for bringing "strange fire" to the altar. What you are doing is no different.

There are just a few more prophecies left to be fulfilled, and Judgment Day is just around the corner. I beg you to consult GOD about this matter....
