Deuteronomy 18: 20 'But the prophet who speaks a word presumptuously in My name which I have not commanded him to speak, or which he speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.' 21 "You may say in your heart, 'How will we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?' 22 "When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not come about or come true, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken, the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.

Deuteronomy above amply demonstrates that YHWH (Yahweh - The Creator) is not kidding around when it comes to so-called "prophets" and their supposed "words from the Lord." Prophets in Biblical times who dared to speak presumptuously in the Name of YHWH were killed and all their works destroyed. Here is what else He said - and let's pray that all you "prophets" out there are paying close attention:
|
Jeremiah 23: 21 "I did not send these prophets; yet they ran. I did not speak to them; yet they prophesied....25 "I have heard what these prophets prophesying lies in my name are saying: 'I've had a dream! I've had a dream!' 26 How long will this go on? Is [my word] in the hearts of prophets who are prophesying lies, who are prophesying the deceit of their own minds? 27 With their dreams that they keep telling each other, they hope to cause my people to forget my name; just as their ancestors forgot my name when they worshipped Ba'al. 28 "If a prophet has a dream, let him tell it as a dream. But someone who has my word should speak my word faithfully. What do chaff and wheat have in common?" asks ADONAI....31 Yes, I am against the prophets," says ADONAI, "who speak their own words, then add, 'He says.'

So here is the bottom line up front for Christians and Catholics who think they're receiving "prophecies" or "new words" from "the Lord" and are attempting to pass off as Truth their paganistic, New Testament-only, "we're under grace and don't have to do anything but believe in Jesus" opinions: God doesn't offer prophecies to those who ignore His Torah and have changed the Name of His Son, along with the dates of His birth, death and resurrection, and who are ignoring His commanded Seventh Day Sabbath and Biblical Feasts! If God truly were to contact you, He wouldn't offer you the kind of NT-only "fluff" you "prophecy" types are espousing...Instead, He would tell you something similar to this:
|
"My Name is YHWH (Yahweh), not 'lord' or 'Jesus' or 'God' which is just a title! My Son's Name is YESHUA, whose Name in Hebrew has a meaning ("Yahweh is Salvation"), whereas 'Jesus' means absolutely nothing! STOP your paganism in the church, you heathens and start doing what I outlined in my Torah (first five Books which contain all the "Thus saith the Lord" comments)! Get rid of your man-made Christmas 'holiday' and your 'Christmas trees' and 'easter eggs' and all the man-made theology that abounds in your churches and start keeping My Feasts! I killed the sons of Aaron for being guilty of nothing more than adding incense to the smoke - what makes you think I am condoning YOUR idol worship?"
"STOP changing the dates of My Savior's birth, death and resurrection! STOP ignoring My Feasts and My Seventh Day Sabbath, and toss your sun-day worship out the window! You proclaim to worship Me, yet you know NOTHING about me! You've made up your own religion; you've insisted I'm "three persons" and made my Son more important than Me - you people NEVER even mention MY Name your churches except for when you occasionally shout HALLELUYAH! You never check to see what I actually said; instead you have managed to come up with over 33,000 "Christian" denominations, with each one insisting THEY have the market cornered on Truth. Get away from Me because I never knew you!" My Son came NOT to start a new religion called Christianity; He came to show you how I WANT THINGS DONE!
"If you want to get to heaven, if you want to start being really blessed then STOP the nonsense and START OBEYING ME! I gave you My Torah, and yet you choose to believe 'Jesus abolished it.' Shame on you! Why would 'Jesus' have abolished MY ORIGINAL DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS without which you would have no blueprint for moral, holy living?"

Today, the internet teems with Christian "prophets" and their so-called prophecies (none of which line up with the Bible) and, judging from the endless email "forwards" containing these "prophecies," countless people are falling for their nonsense. These days there are even "Prophet Schools", with people collecting money in order to "teach" or "train" us to become prophets - and many gullible people are actually paying to attend! It seems some prefer to have their "ears tickled" rather than to read the Bible for themselves, where they would quickly discover that God does not deal with those who aren't interested in obeying His Word (much less, pay personal visits to them!), and that He does not give prophecies to people who are steeped in paganism.
We at The Refiner's Fire are fed up with this prophecy nonsense that keeps landing in our email inbox, and therefore, we have decided to SHOUT OUT a warning to the world to STOP the lunacy. People need to open their eyes and ears and start double-checking against the Bible everything they see, read and hear. The Bible contains all the "words" YHWH wanted us to know concerning Him, His Son, and the future of mankind. The writings of the prophets of old are perfectly outlined within the pages of the Bible - and man is not supposed to "add to" or "subtract from" any of it!
Some examples of modern day "prophets" are Hollie L. Moody (whose "words from the Lord" do not line up with the Bible), John at Five Doves (who uses numerology to predict the future), and Joy at Kingdom Warrior (who still refers to the Ruach/Holy Spirit as "the Holy Ghost" and whose mission is to "do as the apostles of the first century did" - never mind that nowhere on Joy's website can one find any mention of the fact that ALL the apostles, like their Master Yeshua, were Torah observant! The Kingdom Warrior site even features the writings of people such as the false preacher/adulterer Todd Bentley and contains "prophecies" from God in the First Person.
Random examples from the Kingdom Warrior site: "I have set things in motion, and although My people cannot see how all things are working and are coming together to culminate to an expected end, I have done wondrous things, and there is a coming together of My plans and purposes for their lives...I am again doing something new and fresh. My Spirit is moving in ways that He has never moved before. This wind is blowing with force and with power. A power that I have not breathed on My people before this time. A power that will bring the miraculous. A power that will bring deliverance. A power that will cause even those that have been skeptical about the things of My Spirit to embrace Him, to want Him, and to adore Him.
God has "set things in motion?" Gee - didn't He already do that back in Genesis 1? Next, who is the "Him" and "He" this person this person keeps referring to? It can't be the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit is NOT a "person" as most Christians wish to believe. The Holy Spirit is that which reminds us what the Scriptures say and nudges us to obey the Word of God. It is not something tangible we can touch. A quick check of the Bible also reveals that YHWH is not a "trinity" (a word you'll find NOWHERE in the Scriptures); but, rather, He is "echad"/plural form of "One" (Deut. 6:4). With writings such as the above, it's no wonder atheists and agnostics and those from other religions think that Christian believers are a bunch of certified kooks!
Unfortunately, this kind of paganistic blasphemy thrives on that particular website and on the entire internet, and people are falling for it in droves. They're completely willing to believe that God, speaking in the "First Person" (according to these "prophets" who often speak in King James style), is "again doing something new and fresh." But where is this verified in the Bible? The prophets of old, whose writings are IN THE BIBLE, have told us everything we need to know about who YHWH is, who His Son is, and what our future holds! Shame on these people and their lies! Shame on all those who blindly BELIEVE those lies!

The webmaster of The Refiner's Fire, in order to start speaking out against false prophets everywhere, recently sent the following email to Hollie L. Moody and others at "Day Of The Watchmen" in rebuttal to their article, "Return Of The Nephilim" in which they discuss their supposed visions from "the Lord."

Dear sisters,
I am writing to you because we are in the end times as outlined in the Books of Daniel and Revelation, and the time has come to get ourselves "right" with God.
Alhough you won't like what I have to say, I feel the need to tell you what the Ruach (Holy Spirit) is nudging me to do, and that is, to set the record straight about prophecies and visions that many Christians think they have. It seems every other Christian I've ever met thinks they're a prophet. But the bottom line is: If something doesn't line up exactly with the Scriptures, then it isn't of God. In olden days, if a prophet's every prophecy didn't come true, they were put to death.
Case in point: I literally felt my Ruach cringe when someone forwarded me Hollie Moody's "Return of the Nephilim" yesterday, because it is full of "fluff" and unbiblical/unsubstantiated "stuff." That is not to say that Hollie doesn't "have a heart for God," but the thing is, the things she and "others" wrote are WAY off the mark, and therefore, they are guilty of "using the Lord's Name in vain."
Why am I saying this? Because I know God would never have told Hollie that the "Nephilim are returning" because there are no scriptures to substantiate this! That would be a brand new revelation He's never mentioned before and, the truth is, the Bible has revealed EVERYTHING that has ever happened and that is going to happen yet - and the nephilim aren't mentioned as ever "returning" - which makes this a bald-faced LIE.
Furthermore, YHWH (Yahweh) would NEVER say: "Why are you not up in the tower where I have called you to be?"..."Because it's lonely in the tower," I said to the Lord. The obvious question is: WHAT tower? There is not one scripture in the entire Bible that tells us to be "up in a tower" in order see what's going on in the world today or to ward off evil from those towers. The Scriptures command us to know the Word of God and to obey it and stand up against evil, but nowhere are we forced to be "lonely" up in any towers.
I could go on, but you get the drift. People are spreading lies and others are forwarding them - because they simply don't have a proper understanding of the Scriptures. I could tear apart so many of the "visions" and "dreams" that come from so-called "prophets" all over the internet, but it's just not worth my time because it would be catering to Satan - and so I'm simply going to share this with you:
Hollie, if "the Lord" (which "lord"??? Satan is a Lord; Buddha is a Lord...England is FULL of lords....) truly spoke to someone, He wouldn't be espousing "fluff"! The FIRST things He would tell them before ANYTHING else, would be something like this:
(Inserted here is what is written in the white box above.
Now, I realize you believe that Torah was just for "the Jews" but that is absolutely not true. Torah was around WAY before there ever were any "Jews" - after Jacob begat the Tribe of Judah! Cain and Abel, who weren't Jews, offered sin sacrifices (that was Torah!); Noah, who wasn't a Jew, knew the difference between "clean and unclean" animals (that was Torah!)...God's instructions were around since the very beginning when He commanded Adam and Eve to stay away from that tree in the middle of the Garden (that was Torah, too!) Torah didn't start with Moses; it's been around as long as mankind, yet Christians keep calling it "the Law that was abolished at the cross," which is pure BALONEY! YHWH said:
Numbers 15: 13 "'Everyone who is native-born must do these things in this way when he brings an offering made by fire as an aroma pleasing to the LORD. 14 For the generations to come, whenever an alien or anyone else living among you presents an offering made by fire as an aroma pleasing to YHWH, he must do exactly as you do. 15 The community is to have the same rules for you and for the alien living among you; this is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come. You and the alien shall be the same before the YHWH. 16 The same laws and regulations will apply both to you and to the alien living among you.'"
Please re-read the above in case you missed it: Non-Jews/Hebrews are "aliens"/ foreigners/ pagans/ heathens. God was very specific about what non-Jews/Hebrews were to do: The same laws and regulations will apply both to you and to the alien living among you...."Living among" means not necessarily physically, but rather, it refers to all those who have accepted the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. They MUST be Torah observant, just like the Houses of Israel and Judah with whom God made His New Covenant (Jeremiah 31:32)! He didn't make His New Covenant with the Gentiles.
It could not be any clearer. Because of Grace, Gentiles get to be grafted-in. That did not mean they could come up with their own religions and denominations and decide that "Jesus, the 'new god' nailed Torah to the cross!" Yet, every Christian I have ever come across, will quote the much misunderstood writings of Paul (who seems to have been placed above Yeshua in Christianity because, instead of following the Jewish Torah observant Savior, they prefer to adhere to what they think Paul wrote!) to show that "the Law has been abolished...." Nobody ever stops to ask why Paul also said in Romans 3:31: 31 Do we then nullify the Law through faith? May it never be! On the contrary, we establish the Law....
Christians have put YHWH and His Son in a box and turned Him into someone unrecognizable. Christians all like to talk about "revival" - well, revival can only come when man stops doing his "religious" stuff and starts OBEYING His Creator - including becoming a part of YHWH's "Sign" between Him and His people, which is the Seventh Day Sabbath:
Exodus 31: 13 "Speak also to the children of Israel, saying: 'Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you."
Exodus 31: 16 "Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant. 17 It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.'"
Israel is comprised of ALL believers. Gentiles who are grafted in don't get to change the rules! (Yeshua didn't rise on a Sunday, but even if He had, that didn't give Christians the right to change YHWH's seventh day Sabbath.) You either do what YHWH commanded, or you don't belong to Him, simple as that. Yeshua's return is just around the corner, and yet man keeps playing around with God's Word. I would urge you all to re-read the Scriptures for what they actually say, and stop gleaning info from various religions and doctrines made by man.
Shalom, Shali

FINAL THOUGHTS: YHWH makes no mistakes. Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, Ezekiel, etc., all lived their whole lives, uttering 100 percent accurate prophecies; therefore their writings were preserved. Christian "prophets" of today are not only suffering from "diarrhea of the mouth" by proclaiming things that totally go against the Scriptures; but they are playing with fire by breaking the Third Commandment! An appendix in the Aramaic English New Testament includes the following about those who "prophesy in the Name of the Lord":
|
Furthermore, Y'shua the Mashiyach ... proclaimed the Name of YHWH. However, when the teachings of Y'shua were put into the Greek language the theologians of the day readily adopted Greek terms that had previously been used to refer to Greek deities and which were also in line with conventions of the Pharisees within the Greek language.
"I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed. How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart; Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbor, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal." (Jeremiah 23:25-27).
This prophecy is literally fulfilled by a majority of Judeo and Christian religions. The equivalent word for Baal is "Lord," which is traditionally used to replace the Name of YHWH. Baal is used to reference many deities; Christians call upon the "Lord Gawd." There is a place name in Scripture called "Baal Gawd": "Even from the mount Halak, that goes up to Seir, even unto Baalgad in the valley of Lebanon under mount Hermon...." (Joshua 11:17). Gad (pronounced "gawd" as in the English "god") means troop or fortune which is consistent with many Christians' belief that their God provides "good luck" and many carry "lucky" images of Mary, Jesus, angels, crucifixes, etc.
"Therefore hear ye the word of YHWH, all Judah that dwell in the land of Egypt; Behold, I have sworn by my Great Name, says YHWH, that my Name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, Adonai YHWH Chai. Behold, I will watch over them for evil, and not for good: and all the men of Judah that are in the land of Egypt shall be consumed by the sword and by the famine, until there be an end of them. Yet a small number that escape the sword shall return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah, and all the remnant of Judah, that are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall know whose words shall stand, mine, or theirs. And this shall be a sign unto you, says YHWH, that I will punish you in this place, that you may know that My Words shall surely stand against you for evil:" (Jeremiah 44:26-29).
It is a religious normative practice today to reference the name of "the LORD" to endorse all manner of false theology and lifestyle, which is also why YHWH removed His original Set Apart Name from the religious status quo in former times.
"But they rebelled against me, and would not hearken unto me: they did not every man cast away the abominations of their eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt: then I said, I will pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt. But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, among whom they were, in whose sight I made myself known unto them, in bringing them forth out of the land of Egypt." (Ezekiel 20:8-9).
