Dear Refiner's Fire...

In researching my great-grandfather James Churchward, I am sometimes confronted with references to his works. In some cases, the proposals allegedly supported by James' works agree in principle with the world view espoused by James. In other cases, such as video games and Science Fiction adventure films, the references to his works are meant as a lark and not part of a scholarly work. Another category encompasses those academic theories that use James' words to prove something that contradicts James' world views and beliefs. This is the subject of this commentary podcast.

While there are numerous examples, today I want to address a specific instance of an author using James' works to prove a theory that he himself (that is, James Churchward) did not espouse. Therefore, please watch the video rebuttal entitled:

James Churchward and "The Christ Conspiracy: The Greatest Story Ever Sold" available at the following urls: http://jameschurchwardsmu.blogspot.com/, http://www.my-mu.com/podcasts/, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TeDplt0ISSw.

...I sent the email announcing my latest podcast to a few people connected to websites that had criticisms of her (Acharya's) theories in the belief that they might be interested in what I had written/said. The point of my podcast was not to attack the author, but to set the record straight. James Churchward and his theories, although quoted in her book, did not support her theories.

Our Response....

Yes, The Refiner's Fire is definitely interested in what others have to say about Acharya S, as she is a major hate-monger who comes from an unproven and hypothetical and very opinionated world view. Although she obviously thinks very highly of herself, she has absolutely no clue as to what she's talking about when it comes to God and the Bible.

Your video suggested that your great-grandfather, as a believer in "Jesus" might have been a Christian. I suggest that he could NOT have been a Christian since he believed in tolerance of other "religions" and gods, and in the existence of both Osiris and Jesus. While Christianity is very much off the mark in what they turned "Jesus" into (they borrowed from the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and changed the name of His Messiah, the dates of His birth, death and resurrection which are all clearly outlined in the Biblical Feasts), most Christians correctly realize there is only ONE God and absolutely do NOT recognize any other "gods."

People like Acharya S and your misguided great-grandfather (who, unlike Acharya, at least did not present his writings dipped in vitriol and megalomaniac arrogance) have only served to fuel the fires of confusion that Satan has been spreading against Yahweh (our Creator) since the beginning of the world. People like this are/were unable to view the Bible through Spiritual eyes, yet seem driven to be very vocal about their respective ideas and opinions - none of which matter in the grand scheme of things because Yahweh is ultimately in control, whether they "believe" or not.

More than 300 Bible prophecies have already been fulfilled, and the Books of Daniel and Revelation are literally unfolding before our very eyes. This is evidence that Yahweh is real and that the Bible is not a book of concocted stories as the illustrious Acharya suggests. She can attempt to twist Bible facts all she wants, but the fact remains, the Bible speaks for itself. Acharya speaks for Satan. For proof of that, just read some of the posts in her Christ Conspiracy chatroom, which teems with ignorance and hatred and elementary thought processes about a God they don't know, yet feel the need to bad-mouthe and disprove.
