Evil Bible.com asserts that its site is "designed to spread the vicious truth about the Bible". One glance reveals how terribly blinded and deceived the webmaster and his followers are, as they come from a totally "carnal" view of the world and do not understand God or the Bible at all. However, because of their blatant attempts to try to debunk something they clearly cannot comprehend, The Refiner's Fire has taken on the responsibility to set the record straight and reveal the errors of this atheistic website. Following are some of their assertions regarding God and the Bible, along with our comments to their various allegations.   • 10 - You vigorously deny the existence of thousands of gods claimed by other religions, but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of yours.

    The Refiner's Fire Response: Perhaps that is because the "thousands of gods" are false. God gave us the choice to either believe in Him, or not. Through chosen prophets, He "breathed" the Bible into being, and most other world religions and their various denominations have borrowed Bible Scriptures in order to formulate their respective "religions". These prophecies were made thousands of years BEFORE Yeshua (Jesus) was born. No other "holy book" can make the same claim! For instance, the Muslim's Koran - which was spawned from the mind of the crimial/murderer Mohammed who "borrowed" it's "scriptures" from the Tanach (Old Testament) - claims no prophecies, and as a matter of fact, their entire religion didn't come about until 600 years AFTER Yeshua's death....

    Furthermore, hundreds of Bible prophecies have come true, and continue to come true before our very eyes. Right now, God is in the process of setting His end time scenario in place, as is evidenced by the record numbers of hurricanes; tornadoes; earthquakes; upsurge in various diseases caused by "beasts of the field"; by the unprecedented decadence in the world which is beginning to rival Noah's time (a time when God promised us that Yeshua would return); and the violence in the Middle East, right down to the fact that believers would be beheaded - And who are the only people in the universe who still behead? The Muslims - the very people who are holding the world hostage!     No other "religion" can make this claim. Atheist: how do YOU explain this phenomena of so many fulfilled prophecies? How many "coincidences" could there possibly be? As a matter of fact, if you choose to debunk Old Testament prophecies that have come true, then at least be on the lookout for things that are happening today because YOU WILL BE AFFECTED, whether you choose to "believe" or not!   • 9 - You feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from other life forms, but you have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt.

    The Refiner's Fire Response: Have you done an actual study to see whether or not we feel "dehumanized" or "insulted"? This is conjecture on your part. Scientists have never proven, beyond the proverbial "shadow of a doubt" that man "evolved". (See Reasons to Believe) The reason we believe that we were "created from dirt" is because God, our CREATOR, said so! (Yes, atheists couldn't care less about the Bible, but human scientists haven't been able to prove that we weren't created from dirt! The only theory they've got going is the false "evolution" - which has been DISPROVEN again and again!) Humans, with their limited mindsets, cannot possibly understand the things of God unless they have chosen to invite His Holy Spirit to help them discern these matters. Example: We see things from an "ant's perspective" - We cannot see the future or the grand scheme of things like God can with His "satellite perspective".

  • 8 - You laugh at polytheists, but you have no problem believing in a Triune God.

    The Refiner's Fire Response: Again - have you done a study to show that we actually "laugh" at polytheists? Christians believe in a "Triune God" because the Bible has revealed God in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God has MANY aspects, but we know of only three, so far. This does NOT make Him a "polytheist" concept, by the way. God can be anything He wants to be and He was revealed Himself in many different forms: ONE God who has revealed Himself in whatever ways He saw fit. If He can create a universe with everything in it, He can surely reveal Himself in the form of a burning bush, pillars of cloud and fire, talk through a donkey, and come to earth in the form of a human being called Yeshua....See Miscellaneous Responses to the Traditional Jews

  • 7 - Your face turns purple when you hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but you don't even flinch when hearing about how God/Jehovah slaughtered all the babies of Egypt in "Exodus" and ordered the elimination of entire ethnic groups in "Joshua" including women, children, and trees!

    The Refiner's Fire Response: Have you done a study about how purple our faces turn? You keep making these unfounded, blanket accusations! Firstly, Allah is a demon god who expects YOU to die for HIM (while Yeshua is a God Who died for YOU!) and Islam is a religion started by a murdering, thieving, epileptic pedophile called Mohammed. Messianic Judaism began when God/YHWH came to earth in the form of a SINLESS man called Yeshua (which means "Salvation") who taught us about the things of God and then offered Himself as a Divine Sacrifice in order to afford wayward humans a place in heaven.

    The Egyptian babies you speak of were not "slaughtered"; they simply died. YHWH ordered the death of all male firstborn in Egypt because of PHAROAH'S refusal to let God's Chosen People (the Jews) leave Egypt and their Egyptian bondage. If you'll remember, God gave Pharoah NINE OTHER CHANCES before hard-headed Pharoah finally got the picture that GOD was in charge! NINE CHANCES! Ask yourself this: If someone was holding your family captive, abusing them in various ways, and making them perform slave labor - how many chances would YOU give before finally "zapping" the perpetrator?

    YHWH ordered the death of those people in the land of Caanan because - as He had told Moshe (Moses) long before - the land would be given to the people of Israel (the Jews). The fact was, at that time, anyone who wasn't an Israelite was considered to be a heathen/pagan because they did NOT worship the true Creator, and therefore, God had no allegiance to them. (Why should He???) You can rest assured that God would have spared a given city in Canaan if there had been 10 righteous people living in it — or at least save the righteous people as he did at Sodom and Gomorrah. Rahab and her family in Jericho were spared in Joshua 6, although the city and the other people were destroyed. So we can establish that either no one or a tiny handful of innocent people were killed during the course of the conquest of Canaan. Of course, any innocent, Godly people would have gone to heaven and not be vexed by the wickedness around them, so even that could be considered a "deliverance".

    So, "why kill these wicked people at all?" Consider this: if someone in your neighborhood occasionally killed children and sacrificed them on an altar, would you want this person to continue living there? Most people would decide that such a person deserves the death penalty. God responds the same way. The fact is that God ALWAYS finds out the truth (for instance, read the entire story of Sodom, and you will see) and then renders fairly in His execution of judgment. If you are FOR God, then you have nothing to worry about: Even in death you will be better off, for you will get to spend eternity with Him. If you are against God, tough luck, bub!   • 6 - You laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and Greek claims about gods sleeping with women, but you have no problem believing that the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god who got killed, came back to life and then ascended into the sky.

    The Refiner's Fire Response: And why should we have a problem believing that? A God who created the entire universe and everything in it can surely impregnate a human woman supernaturally (after all, He created her AND her womb) to enable her to give birth to someone who looks human (someone we could better identify with than, say, "a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night"). God's idea, as stated above, was to present Himself as a man so that we could better understand the One who was teaching us the things of God, how He wanted to be worshipped, and how we were to treat each other - and then to die on our behalf as the FINAL Sin Sacrifice.

    In case you didn't know, in Old Testament times, God ALWAYS demanded a blood sacrifice to atone for sins. Why? Who knows? He is God and can demand whatever He wants! This was a consequence we inherited from the disobedience of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. But God loved His creation enough to be willing to send an aspect of Himself to die in our places. Without the sacrifice of Yeshua, we would ALL be destined for hell - a place where we would be eternally separated from God; a place where we would be forced to live with God's evil enemy Satan, the ruler of this world who caused man to go astray in the first place....

    We had an atheist ask: Why don't you lend the same credence to other religions? What outside the Bible indicates that your God is any more likely than any other one? Our response: There is nothing else that was God-breathed! Every other "religion" in the world was either "borrowed" from the Bible, or totally made up by man. You either believe that or you don't! If you don't, then you will be really surprised when the last few prophecies come true - when the Antichrist appears to make a seven-year peace treaty with Israel, just when it looks like the world is on the brink of extinction! You will be really surprised that, after three and half years (just as the Bible said), he will show his true colors and force people to do as he says over the threat of BEHEADING.....

  • 5 - You are willing to spend your life looking for little loopholes in the scientifically established age of Earth (few billion years), but you find nothing wrong with believing dates recorded by Bronze Age tribesmen sitting in their tents and guessing that Earth is a few generations old.

    The Refiner's Fire Response: There it is again, that unsubstantiated PERSONAL OPINION! Again - if GOD said it through His prophets of old, who consolidated His Word into a Book where hundreds of prophecies were fulfilled throughout the ages, and are continuing to be fulfilled even as you are reading this - then believers everywhere will take the "tribesmen's" word over the "findings" of scientists who are limited by human mindsets and knowledge.   • 4 - You believe that the entire population of this planet with the exception of those who share your beliefs -- though excluding those in all rival sects - will spend Eternity in an infinite Hell of Suffering. And yet consider your religion the most "tolerant" and "loving."

    The Refiner's Fire Response: Yep, our God IS tolerant and loving! Why? Because the God of the Bible - the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Joseph - IS THE TRUE CREATOR, while the rest of the "gods" are NOT. He has put up with man's disobedience for THOUSANDS of years, giving us chance after chance after chance. How many chances would YOU give to your wayward kids who insisted on being drug addicts, drunks, sexual deviants, etc., and who consistently told you to get out of their lives because you, as a parent, are a moron who knows nothing? (But, just keep on shelling ou the money, Dad! And give us a free place to live. Other than that, buzz off!) We're not sure what you mean by the statement, "though excluding those in all rival sects". Unless one believes in the shed blood of Yeshua HaMaschiach, they will NOT end up in heaven; simple as that.

    An atheist asked: If God is so tolerant and loving, why even create us if that creation will doom MOST of us to eternal hellfire? Our response: Who knows why God created man? We're told that He nearly annihilated the earth once because we turned out different than expected. However, because of a few "righteous" he didn't destroy the earth. The thing is, He has gone above and beyond to show us His love, and He has even sent His "Son" to be our final Sin Sacrifice - and all you have to do is to believe and decide to live your life according to HIS rules. What more could He do? Again - you either believe in Him, or you don't. It's your choice. Since you're choosing to be an atheist, on Judgment Day, don't whine when you don't get to enter heaven!

  • 3 - While modern science, history, geology, biology, and physics have failed to convince you otherwise, some idiot rolling around on the floor speaking in "tongues" may be all the evidence you need to "prove" Christianity.

    The Refiner's Fire Response: There certainly are a lot of "idiots" claiming to be Christians and Messianic Jews. Those types, unfortunately, give the rest of us a "bad name". However, "idiots" rolling around on the floor and speaking in tongues are NOT "evidence" to prove Christianity. Where did you get that unfounded information? (Probably the same place you got all the rest of your ideas....) That's simply another conjecture on your part....

  • 2 - You define 0.01% as a "high success rate" when it comes to answered prayers. You consider that to be evidence that prayer works. And you think that the remaining 99.99% FAILURE was simply the will of God.

    The Refiner's Fire Response: And you got those statistics WHERE? Tell me, do you always give your kids everything they want? (Gimme some cocaine, Dad. I know I'm only five years old, but other parents are allowing their kids to do fun stuff....) Prayer ALWAYS works, 100 percent of the time! Whether people get what they asked for is another matter. The Bible tells us that God hears ALL prayers. The fact is, He decides how to answer each one. Those who have a personal relationship with God KNOW this and accept His decisions.

  • 1 - You actually know a lot less than many atheists and agnostics do about the Bible, Christianity, and church history - but still call yourself a Christian.

    The Refiner's Fire Response: How utterly and disgustingly arrogant! Let's enlighten you to at least ONE fact you should glean from this particular article, if nothing else: Your personal opinions do not scientific evidence make! How do you know exactly WHAT I know about God and the Bible? Or what my husband or neighbor, or my rabbi and our entire congregation know? Have you done a poll? The bottom line is: Anyone who has repented and believes in Yeshua is a heck of a lot better off than the atheists and agnostics who have rejected Him - even if those atheists and agnostics think they know more about the Bible! Whether or not you believe that fact, doesn't matter. Judgment Day WILL come, and you WILL stand before the Lord your Maker to personally explain your rejection. At that time, it won't matter how much you did or didn't know about the Bible, and then it will be too late to beg for forgiveness. If you KNEW the Bible as well as you THINK you do, then you would BELIEVE what it says, and I wouldn't be sitting here defending it to you....

Matthew 5:10-12: 10 "How blessed are those who are persecuted because they pursue righteousness! for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. 11 How blessed you are when people insult you and persecute you and tell all kinds of vicious lies about you because you follow me! 12 Rejoice, be glad, because your reward in heaven is great - they persecuted the prophets before you in the same way.

The groundless, proofless suppositions and personal opinions above show exactly how blinded atheists are to the Truth. The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 2:14: "The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned."

Jesus Lied About Prayer

Jesus is quoted many times in the Bible saying that a believer can ask for anything through prayer and receive it. He even goes so far as to say that mountains and trees can be thrown into the sea simply by praying for it. This is clearly a lie, and can be proven to be a lie by any believer. Simply pray for me to be converted to Christianity right away. Or better yet ask God to move the mountains behind my house. He could make a lot of converts that way. If I’m converted today, I’ll post a public apology on my web site and devote my life to kissing God’s a--. If I’m not converted it would only be fair for you to apologize and devote your life to kissing my butt.

A lot of Christians ignore what Jesus actually says in the Bible. They also tend to add things to the actual words to make them say something else. If you honestly and truthfully read these quotes, without adding to them, it is very easy to see that Jesus is not saying that God will think about your prayers. He says God will grant all your prayers. Clearly, God doesn’t grant all prayers and this proves that Jesus was a habitual liar.

First of all - what are the Bible versions "NAB" and "NAS" supposed to be? Never heard of those particular versions!

Secondly - Isn't it amusing to see how sarcastic atheists can get? Their disgusting language and carnal behavior reveals who is in charge of THEIR lives: Satan! (Yes, dear Atheist - In this world it's either God or Satan who influences you. On Judgment Day you will realize that fact!)

Here is a short and incomplete list of Biblical contradictions which were obtained from postings in internet newsgroups....If the Bible was divinely inspired, then why would it have so many really obvious contradictions?

  • There is but one God: Deut 6:4
    There is a plurality of gods: Gen 1:26/ Gen 3:22/ Gen 18:1-3/ 1 John 5:7

    Response: In the original Hebrew, God was always referred to as "Echad" - ONE in the plural form such as one bunch of grapes. The alternative word "yachid" means only one - i.e, one grape, one egg.....References to plurality occur throughout the Torah, as God is referred to as "Adonai Elohim". The word "Elohim" means "Gods", "Lords" or "Masters" and is plural. It is derived from the singular root word "Elah". God is several/many aspects in ONE entity. The Bible reveals Him in several places as "Father, Son, and Holy Spirit." THAT is why it seems there is a plurality of gods.....

  • God is satisfied with his works: Gen 1:31
    God is dissatisfied with his works: Gen 6:6

    Response: In Genesis 1 God was satisfied with the progress of the world He had made. He was happy with the two humans He had made who were OBEYING Him. How long this satisfaction went on, nobody knows, it could have been thousands of years....In Genesis 6, when MAN chose to obey God's enemy, Satan - the very being who had been kicked out of heaven eons earlier for trying to usurp his Creator's power - God got mad. Why is there a problem with that concept? God isn't allowed to be angry at his disobedient creation? Where is the contradiction?

  • God dwells in chosen temples: 2 Chron 7:12,16
    God dwells not in temples: Acts 7:48

    Response: In the Old Testament days, God always demanded animal sacrifices, and He revealed Himself in many ways. He also revealed Himself as a "pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night" (in part, so people could see in the darkness). He also revealed Himself in the temples that man had to build. Once Yeshua (Jesus) came to earth to teach man how to properly worship God, and how to treat each other, and then to die as a FINAL SIN SACRIFICE! the "temple" then was in each of us, for there was no more need to sacrifice innocent animals in order to atone for our sin....So, where is the contradiction?

  • God is tired and rests: Ex 31:17/ Jer 15:6
    God is never tired and never rests: Is 40:28

    Response: Exodus 31 - 17 "It is a sign between Me and the sons of Israel forever; for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, but on the seventh day He ceased from labor, and was refreshed."

    In no version of any Bible does it say God was "tired"! EVER! Someone has misinterpreted this and is trying to pass it off as truth in order to suit their Satanic agenda. (WHO'S LYING NOW???) The Bible says, He stopped working and rested. This was said for OUR benefit, because MAN needs to rest, or he will die from exhaustion. Because God "rested" (ceased work) on the seventh day, we are to follow suit and rest on the Sabbath. That is the Fourth Commandment.

  • God is everywhere present, sees and knows all things: Prov 15:3/ Ps 139:7-10/ Job 34:22,21
    God is not everywhere present, neither sees nor knows all things: Gen 11:5/ Gen 18:20,21/ Gen 3:8

    Response: Have you actually LOOKED at these Scriptures? God IS everywhere and sees and knows all things! For crying out loud, He made the universe and everything in it! For instance: Genesis 115 The LORD came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. God didn't come down to see what man was doing because He didn't KNOW what man was doing! He came down to let MAN know that He knew what man was up to and to let man know that He didn't like what he was doing! (Any CHILD reading this could discern that much!) As a matter of fact, after that, God scrambled the language in order to make it harder on man to communicate - hence, all the difference languages of earth.

    God has an end time plan, and He is in charge. He isn't going to let man get ahead of that plan! Whenever God "came down" it was for MAN's benefit - so MAN would know that God KNEW what he was up to.....If God was so stupid as to have to come down to earth in the first place to ask man what was going on, then ask yourself this: HOW did God even know that man was "up to" anything? How did God even hear about what man was doing? Did He receive a phone call or a fax? (Remember, this was thousands of years ago...)

  • God knows the hearts of men: Acts 1:24/ Ps 139:2,3
    God tries men to find out what is in their heart: Deut 13:3/ Deut 8:2/ Gen 22:12

    Response: If you bothered to actually READ these Scriptures, you would realize that there is NO contradiction! "God knows the hearts of men"; and then "God tries men to find out what is in their heart".....DUH! God TRIES/TESTS men in order to SHOW THEM/make men realize what is in their own hearts. Man is an arrogant and stupid know-it-all creature who needs to be constantly guided and even punished before he finally "gets" it....Unless you have the Holy Spirit residing within you, you CANNOT understand God or the Bible! This is PROOF! You refuse to see the simplest thing....

  • God is all powerful: Jer 32:27/ Matt 19:26
    God is not all powerful: Judg 1:19

    Response: Again, this shows that you don't have ONE clue about Scripture! God was DOING something THROUGH the Jews; He was telling and showing them what to do in order to win the war, etc. This wasn't for GOD's sake, but for MAN's....

  • God is to be found by those who seek him: Matt 7:8/ Prov 8:17
    God is not to be found by those who seek him: Prov 1:28

    ATHEISTS: If you actually READ the Bible, and read Scripture IN CONTEXT as opposed to picking and choosing whatever you believe suits your agenda, you would find some really amazing facts! Take for instance, Proverbs 1:28 (which you are using to try to prove God is a moron who contradicts Himself), which says:

    28 "Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently but they will not find me,

The Bible is like the tip of an iceberg; one has to dive beneath the surface in order to see the actual enormity of it to "get the big picture". The Bible is like an anthill in the desert: From the outside, it doesn't look like much; it's just a hill of dirt with myriad ants randomly dashing about. But take a shovel and dig down deep, and you'll see sophisticated roadways, storage and dwelling places, and nurseries - along with indisputable evidence of an intelligent, orderly society where everyone has his place, from the queen on down to the least slave....

God TELLS us that, without the Holy Spirit, no one can understand the things of God because they spring from a SPIRITUAL viewpoint. It is no wonder then, that unbelievers cannot grasp the Bible's true meanings....Unbelievers have no concept as to the enormity of God's power and His Word - the very Word that breathed the universe into being!

It is clear that the "Evil Bible" webmaster desperately wants to disprove God and the Bible. It seems he has never truly bothered to try to understand the Bible; as a matter of fact, it appears as if he simply decided he needed fodder to support his atheistic viewpoint, and consequently set out to find as many Scriptures as possible that seemed nonsensical or appeared to contradict themselves.

In other words, because he can't understand God, he decided to single-handedly take Him on; hoping to squash out of existence something that has been around since the beginning of time - using only his limited human mindset, sarcasm, and plenty of whacky and uninformed personal opinions!

Unfortunately for this lost webmaster, he will be "talking out of the other side of his mouth" on Judgment Day. That day is coming, whether one believes in God, or not! All the events of the world today point to the fact that we are living in the end times. What will the "Evil Bible" webmaster do when the Antichrist forces everyone to take the Mark of the Beast, without which no one will be able to buy or sell? Where will the "Evil Bible" webmaster hide when two-thirds of the world are destroyed and most of the waters are poisoned? Whom will he turn to for food and shelter? Probably to one of us believers who have been preparing for this time....

Colossians 2: 8 See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. 9 For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form,

The Bible tells us not to waste too much time on hard-core unbelievers, for they REFUSE to understand and will NEVER see the Kingdom of God. God has given us His pearls of wisdom, and we are not to waste them on those who refuse to honor Him:

Matthew 7:6 - "Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.

This life is but a "blink of an eye" and our true reward will be in heaven to live at God's feet forever. That is where believers will be for eternity. Wonder what the atheists will be doing?
