The fact that Miranda has decided he's both Christ AND Antichrist, proves that he has no clue about God or the Bible. Still, he the right idea, you know: If you're going to adopt a persona, why adopt the identity of some follower when you can be the head-honcho, the big Kahuna: God Himself? The only problem is, Jesus Miranda's theology doesn't match up with the REAL Jesus (whose real name, by the way, is Y'Shua/Yeshua/various other phonetic spellings of the Hebrew which translates into "Yahweh [Yah] Shall Save [Shua]").

According to the ABC special about Miranda, "Jesus" makes a six-figure income, drinks, smokes, surrounds himself with gorgeous women, and lives in absolute luxury in his latest incarnation. He sports Rolexes, rides around in expensive cars, and he even has body guards! In other words, he's done a complete "180". The real "Jesus" two thousand years ago concentrated not on Himself, but on God and His Torah (teaching/instruction)....

This Jesus - who insists that sin, the devil and hell were all abolished on the cross, also seems to have forgotten that the Bible from Genesis to Revelation NOWHERE suggests that Yeshua would be born of the flesh again! The Bible tells us that He would be returning in the clouds - and that His Second Coming would be connected with a resurrection of our earthly bodies (what is commonly referred to as the "Rapture"):

1 Corinthians 15: 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

1 Thessalonians 4: 13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Yeshua died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Yeshua will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Messiah shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words."

So far, nobody in the entire history of the world has matched the above description or "descended from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God"; nor have God's people been "caught up" in the clouds, as of this writing. That, in itself, gives us ample reason to believe that Miranda is a pure, one hundred percent, unadulterated fraud. Not to mention that he has not performed one single miracle (i.e., walking on water, supernaturally changing water into wine, or raising the dead - let alone, ushered in world peace in accordance with Numbers 6:26; Psalm 29:11; Isaiah 9:6; Isaiah 2:1-4; 9:4-5, 7; Zechariah. 9:9-10; etc.)

Furthermore, one would have to question why, as "God", Miranda would need body guards since the "sword of his mouth" (Revelation 1:16) could instantly slay any enemies....

Just for kicks, let's examine a few of the other reasons why Miranda can't possibly be Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus Christ, God Incarnate:

• Concerning Miranda's teaching that sin was abolished when Jesus died on the cross, that the devil doesn't exist and that God's chosen (Miranda's followers, whom he calls a "super race", are predestined for salvation.

Where in the Bible does it say that SIN was abolished? We challenge Miranda to send us those Scriptures! Yeshua was the Final SIN Sacrifice, who offered Himself in exchange for man's inherent propensity to sin! His sacrifice abolished the need for MAN to kill innocent animals in order to atone for sin....

Furthermore, if "evil doesn't exist" anymore, then WHY is the world growing ever-more decadent? Why are crime rates through the proverbial roof? Why are the evening news inundated with endless stories of rapes, murders, thefts, and corruption? Why have millions of women slain their unborn babies? Why are there American presidents who perform indecent and adulterous sexual acts under their desks in the White House? Why have homosexuals - who commit acts that God considers to be an abomination (Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; Deuteronomy 22:5; 1 Tim 1:9-11) literally bombarded the Western world into submission by forcing us to believe it's "normal", and something to be proud of? Why, if there is no more sin, are Muslim "suicide bombers" killing innocent people in Israel; or beheading anyone who doesn't agree with their religion; or using planes filled with innocent people as personal missiles to kill MORE innocent people? Why is the Middle East engaged in the act of war?....

• Concerning Miranda's twice-divorced status and the fact that he has five children.

Bible tells us God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16, Matthew 19:6). Let's get brutally honest here: As God Incarnate who is to return to Earth in His eternal body, why would Yeshua have the need for sex or marriage, let alone make babies in a world that is about to be turned upside-down? If Yeshua had given in to His human desires two-thousand years ago, He could NOT have been Yahweh's FINAL Sin Sacrifice!

• In a 2006 Miami Herald interview, Miranda was quoted as saying: "I don't study the Bible....I don't go into rooms for prayer. Who am I going to pray to?"

Perhaps "Jesus" should check the Bible to refresh his memory that, in His human state, the REAL YESHUA constantly prayed to the Father: Mark 1:12-13 1:35; 7:34; Matthew 4:1-11; 14:13, 19, 23; Luke 4:1-13; 4:42; 5:16; 6:12; 9:18; John 11:41-42, to mention just a few. In the olive grove of Gat-Shemanim (Gethsemane), during his struggle with intense grief "to the point of death" (Matthew 26:38; Mark 14:34), He sank to the ground. Luke's account says, "He knelt down and began to pray" (22:41). Matthew says: "He fell on his face and prayed" (26:39). Even on the cross, He lifted his eyes toward Heaven and said: "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit" (Luke 23:46).

The fact that Miranda "doesn't study the Bible" is evident by the fact that he doesn't know Scriptures very well - or else he would realize how ludicrous it is to suggest that "Jesus" would return to Earth as a formerly convicted felon, divorced father and womanizing, money-grubbing person who completely ignores God's original teachings and "forever" commands!

The Refiner's Fire would like to pose a few questions to "Jesus" Miranda:

1. Since you've been on the scene for approximately 20 years already and have built 40 churches around the world, then what is taking you so long to accomplish the things you promised to accomplish (i.e., abolish war and corruption)? Are you waiting for all the Judgments in the Book of Revelation to befall us or - since you're already here - do you think you could get off your duff and PREVENT them altogether? Or have you even read that far in the Bible, yet? It would be really nice if you actually DID what you're supposed to do during your Second Coming. If you can't, then do what the old adage says: Lead, follow, or get out of the way! At least do something before you get too old and gray and force us all to wait for your THIRD Coming!
   
   
2. How could you possibly appear BEFORE the revelation of the Antichrist who will sign the seven-year peace treaty with Israel (Daniel 9:26-27)? It stands to reason that, since you're already here, it knocks a hole in the "pre-trib rapture" idea, and so therefore, we're all waiting for the Antichrist to do his thing because, according to the Bible, he should be showing up any time now.
   
   
3. Since our Lord and Savior was a Jew named Y'Shua (Yeshua) whose Hebrew name means "Salvation", why are you calling yourself "Jesus" which means absolutely nothing? And if you're God Incarnate, why do you need body guards? 1 Thessalonians 4:16 tells us that Y'Shua will descend with a shout. Why didn't world know about your "second coming", Jose? Why were you the supposed incarnation of the Apostle Paul before you decided you were "Jesus"? How could this be possible? Who are you really?
   
   
4. Y'Shua was a tallit wearing, synagogue attending, seventh day Sabbath and Biblical Feast keeping, Torah observant, kosher JEW. From what your website espouses, you have no clue about the seventh day Sabbath or the Feasts, or any part of Torah which includes many "forever" commandments. Has "forever" ended already? If not, then why aren't you Torah observant today? Judging from your website's statement of faith, "Jesus" Miranda is a New Testament-only advocate who doesn't feel the need to bother adhering to ANY of God's original teachings as there is no mention of the seventh day Sabbath or the Biblical feasts.
   
   
5. According to the Bible, Y'Shua has so far only fulfilled the first four Biblical Feasts. There are three more to go, and the next one will be the so-called "Rapture" - which happens ONLY upon Y'Shua's return. The Bible outlines exactly what He will do upon His return, and drinking and womanizing and getting rich from deceived followers are NOT among His future accomplishments! Why haven't you yet defeated the "Anti-Christ" at Armageddon? Why do you not wear a tallit or have God's Name upon your thigh (Rev. 19:11-13,16)? (Tattooeing the number 666 has NOTHING to do with God's Name!)
   
   
6. According to the Bible, believers in Messiah Y'Shua will be "raptured" upon His return and will return to earth to help Him defeat the Antichrist. Since you've supposedly returned, "Jesus", why are we still here? Why hasn't the Antichrist shown up yet to make that seven year peace treaty with Israel (which will happen precisely during the time when the whole world, as outlined in the Bible, will go up against Israel)?
   
   
7. Y'Shua was our final SIN Sacrifice; He did not abolish sin, as you are suggesting because, as long as man is on this earth, there will be sinning. Y'Shua's death on the cross merely meant that believers no longer have to kill innocent animals to atone for their sins. Since sin abounds and this world is getting more decadent than ever, how can you possibly say "there is no more sin"? What do you call murder, abortion, lying, cheating, self-centered living, pornography, incest, pedophilia, etc. - all of which abound in our world?
   
   
8. How could you possibly be Christ AND Anti-Christ at the same time? What does the Bible tell you about the "Anti-Christ", the man of lawlessness who will make a seven year peace treaty with Israel and will show his true colors and force everyone to take "the mark of the beast" after 3 1/2 years? "Anti" - for your information, Jose, means "against"....If you're God Incarnate and the "Anti-Christ" at the same time, WHO will you be fighting at Armageddon?
   
   
9. Y'Shua was a PERFECT man, one who didn't covet money or possessions. He went about teaching His followers about God - or else He could not have been our Final Sin Sacrifice. What makes you think YOU'RE perfect since you are totally carnal, given to drink alcohol, have surrounded yourself with pleasures and money, and have even been married and divorced? Yahweh (God) has no reason to covet these things! As a matter of fact, He's totally AGAINST everything you're doing right now....You're not even following the TEN Commandments, let alone the rest of the Torah!

...Perhaps someone should remind "Jesus" that YESHUA was a Torah-observant, tallit-wearing, Sabbath and feast-keeping, kosher JEW (not someone with a Hispanic accent) who never veered from God's original teachings....

OYVE! Is it any wonder that most of the world thinks that believers in Christ are a bunch of certified kooks?
