Dear Andrew,
You might be right, and I especially appreciate your comment:
"Sadly, there are some Christians who seem to think the Holocaust was God's judgement on the Jews for rejecting Christ. Nothing could be further from the truth. Satan used the Holocaust in a last-minute attempt to prevent the rebirth of Israel.
Most people are like lost sheep; they'll believe anything. Therefore, it's a small wonder that so many people are under the impression that the Holocaust was God's judgment on the Jews! Many - especially the "white supremacists" believe that "the Jews" killed Jesus and that's why the world should hate them. I always ask them to re-read those particular scriptures describing His death so that they can see for themselves that, while the Jewish rabbis were certainly responsible for initiating Yeshua's death (1) there was a "mixed multitude" of people who were in the crowd who spat and threw stones and harassed Him; (2) the Gentile Romans were the ones who flogged and beat Him half to death; and (3) the Gentile Romans actually nailed Him to the cross.
Satan must be laughing his rear end off because it's so easy to lead people astray! Satan has been leading people away from the Truth forever - and it's working! Traditional Jews have stubbornly chosen to remain blind to the "New Testament" and Yeshua - never mind that He was foreshadowed throughout the Tanach ("Old Testament); while Christans believe "Jesus nailed the entire Torah to the cross" and don't have to do a thing but "believe". There are so many Jews who blindly follow their rabbis and don't bother to delve into the Tanach themselves, and consequently miss "the rest of the story"; and at the same time, many Christians don't bother to read or study the whole Truth of the Bible, and are blindly following their off-the-mark pastors without question. It seems most people either just don't care, or have simply chosen to turn a deaf ear and a blind eye to the Truth according to the Bible.
I was saved in a small Baptist church, and practically from the moment I accepted Christ, I felt there was "something missing" or just "plain wrong" in the church; unfortunately, since I'd never read the Bible (I was born Jewish but not raised in the faith), I wasn't sure exactly what was bothering me. (Looking back, the Holy Spirit was trying to show me that the Christian church had totally misinterpreted the teachings of Paul and negated the "Old Testament" by insisting "the law was nailed to the cross"; and most were totally blind to the fact that basically the entire Bible is about Israel and the Jews; i.e., God never made any covenants with the Gentiles - but through His love and mercy He did allow the believing Gentiles to be "grafted in".
Although the Bible is very straightforward about this, for some reason most Christians simply overlook the fact that Yeshua was a Torah observant Jew! I just recently watched a show with a Catholic flavor on TV about Jesus, in which someone said: "The reason God sent us Jesus was to give us the hope of peace and love upon the earth." There was nothing about His being our Final Sin Sacrifice - which was the REAL reason He was sent! No - He's all about "love and peace", and apparently pleased with the paganism man has forced upon Him in that little box we have relegated Him to rule and reign from....
YOU SAID: And what makes me, as a Christian, sad is how the Jews have been persecuted for centuries by those who claimed to be followers of Jesus/ Yeshua.
It's Satan, pure and simple. He's used plenty of people to deceive the world. Man has been using his limited, human mindset to try to understand the things of God, and whenever things don't go man's way, his carnal nature comes out and innocent people get hurt. Hardly anyone one stops to think that ALL is going exactly according to God's grand plan! If Yeshua had NOT been killed, then His purpose on earth would not have been fulfilled and the world would not have had a Final Sin Sacrifice. If God had NOT punished the Jews' disobedience by disseminating "into the nations", word of Yahweh and Yeshua would have remained a big secret within the confines of tiny, little Israel....
And now, the Books of Daniel and Revelation are unfolding before our eyes. God is using the Spirit of Islam to usher in His end times scenario. If you haven't done so, I invite you to read our article about the Mark of the Beast.
