NOTE FROM THE REFINER'S FIRE: The following are excerpts of some lengthy correspondence between The Refiner's Fire and someone from a Muslim sect that questions traditional Islam:
Muhammed received Qur'an from God. I know for sure that Muhammed didn't insert anything into the Qur'an because he was having problems convincing people that God existed, let alone to convince them into anything more, like miracles, Heaven or Hell.
....I have read some of the articles that were hostile toward Islam and muslims. Now, i don't want to upset you or make you angry but i do have several questions for you, if you're ready to answer.
Believe me, i have nothing against you and i don't hate you but i have discovered several things about Islam and the TRUE Islam is not what today's "muslims" practice.
For one thing, the outfit that women wear in the islamic countries, is not quranic or islamic, is not obligatory in any way. Believe me, women REALLY should NOT dress the way they dress today in islamic world and elsewhere.
Next: cutting hands, beheading ... is also not islamic and it is a huge sin. Today's "muslims" are following sunna and hadith collection which is sin, they should not follow sunna and hadith, we are told to follow Quran ALONE, but satan has duped them into following a man-made "law" called sunna and hadith collection.
True muslim is a believer. Every believer is a muslim, but not every muslim is a believer, do you understand? True Islam is rare today. There are very little true muslims today, maybe less then 1.000.000 believers. I can send you some material where the TRUE Islam is described. Believe me, i am NOT trying to convert you, nor is that the mission of a muslim. Muslims do not convert anyone....
....I know that today's Umma doesn't agree with my way of practising Islam but that's their problem. I know that i'm right and they're wrong. See, even you know they're wrong. Even non-muslims know that what today's "muslims" are doing, is wrong.
They have changed everything, from the first pillar to the basic stuff. In Arabia, the religious police will beat you up if they find you sleeping on the left side and not on your right side or if you eat and drink with your left hand instead with your right hand. That is nonsense.
Nowhere in the Qur'an does it say that a woman should cover her head. It says that she should coiver her breasts. But then they came up with the sunna and hadith and because of those two things, women in the Mid-East are suffering.
No Islamic scholar is gonna agree with me, not even shi'a muslims who don't follow sunna and hadith. See, even shi'a muslims have invented their own "holy place"! Can you believe it? Shi'a muslims claim that there is another holy place besides Mecca! That's the most riducilous thing ever! Sunni muslims say that Medina is also a holy place and of course that is not true. Mecca is the only place that is holy as we are told in the Qur'an.
Of course, i wouldn't say all this to any muslims anywhere, because we, The TRUE Believers, are very small group and therefore a little afraid that a whole new war might start in the Islamic world.
If you wanna check all this, you don't have to look into the Qur'an if you don't want to. To look in the Qur'an would be the best, but if you wanna hear the answer, ask any muslim there this:
- Did Muhammad say anything about leaving sunna and hadith after he dies?
- Why is it that many hadiths contradict Qur'an? (I can send you material on that too.)
- Where in the Qur'an are mentioned all five prayers?
- Where in the Qur'an is it said that believer must look side ways at the end of the prayer?
- Where in the Qur'an does it say that you have to give charity but only 2.5 procent of every salary? (Qur'an says that you have to give only the amount of money that you have after you have satisfied all your needs. After you fill your fridge, pay your bills, pay the debt, ... and then if you still have some money left as a left over, that money is charity.)
- Where in the Qur'an does it say that a muslim must circle the Ka'aba seven times? (In reality you can circle the Ka'aba as many times as you want.)
- Where in the Qur'an does it say that you have to say Al-Fatiha only once in the prayer? (In reality you can say it once, twice or twelwe times.)
- Where in the Qur'an does it say that you only have to say certain words in the prayer, like, Soobhane Rabb Al-A'ala; sunnis, shi'a and wahabis say that you can say it only three times but in reality you can sa yit as many times as you like it.)
- Where in the Qur'an does it say that you have to "stone the devil" during Hajj in the Ka'aba? They invented this!
- THE MOST IMPORTANT - Where in the Qur'an does it say, that we have to follow sunna and hadith? Yes, we are told to follow Muhammed but that means that we have to follow his direction: he was following Qur'an and so shall we.
I think that the page where i discovered all this not following sunna and hadith, is the right page but if some people won't follow it, so what? To me, it's important that i follow the Right Path.
