Dear Claude Vorilhon: (Please forgive me for calling you by your real name, but I simply cannot bring myself to call you Rael, which supposedly means "The True Face of God". Did you get your new name from the word "Israel" perhaps, since "Israel" means "who prevails with God"? The reason I ask this is because you also acquired words (such as "Elohim" - as you call the aliens who supposedly created mankind; scripture passages; and even the name of the Jewish God, YHVH, from the Torah - who, of course just happens to the be "President" of your "Elohim" planet....) As you might have guessed, I am one of the many "idiots" (your favorite word for believers in God), you have openly offended, and I am therefore writing to let you know my feelings about your assertions about religion, God, the Bible, and cloning, and your misguided teachings that organized religion should be banned and replaced by pure science. In a speech about the 9/11 tragedy on US soil, you claimed that "Monotheism is responsible for the greatest crimes against humanity, and that the only solution for terrorism is for science to replace religion. Here are some excerpts from that speech:
Wow! Pardon me for waxing philosophical, Mr. Vorilhon, but your sweeping generalities and uninformed opinions about God and the Bible are typical for the "carnal" mindset. I Corinthians 2:14 says: "The natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them." Unfortunately, your ever-growing caustic views are quickly spreading throughout the world, as they appeal to human understanding at its basest level. It's much easier for some to believe (as do you) that aliens created mankind and are urging us to basically do "whatever feels good," than it is to believe in a God who has strict rules and regulations. Getting back to your speech of 9/11, perhaps it might interest you to know that people who have a relationship with Yeshua (Jesus) don't have to "pretend that God is with them." They KNOW He is! The problem is, it's hard to describe this to someone who doesn't have the Holy Spirit residing in their souls, but here it is, in a nutshell: Yeshua was the Son of God (a part of God Himself), sent by YHVH, God the Father, so that man might be able to understand the things of God which man's limited mind could not understand (as evidenced throughout the Old Testament where man would "do it right" for awhile, then begin to stray, because of his sin nature, which he inherited from Adam and Eve). Yeshua came to teach us God's ways, and then to offer Himself as a final sacrifice for us on the cross (as the learned man you are, you probably remember that YHVH always required sin [and other] offerings from His creation. Well, Yeshua was THE final sin offering.) Once He died and was buried, He rose three days later, just as Bible prophecies predicted and thus, as the "Holy Spirit" He was now able to reside in our hearts and minds to guide and protect us, just for the asking. Thanks to God's Grace, man no longer had to perform the sacrifices. He could now have eternal life because of Yeshua's sacrificial death on the cross. THAT is how one can gain eternal life, not by implanting our minds and memories into some clone, as you assert -- which is the most ludicrous thing I've ever heard! Naturally, this will sound strange to someone who does not have the Holy Spirit in his heart. You believe that belief in a single and Almighty God is the very cause of the greatest tragedies that Humanity has known. This is true to a certain extent, only because of man's human way of thinking and his waywardness. Had man adhered to God's Word as he was supposed to, he could have saved himself a lot of trouble. Instead, man did things his way, which always landed him in hot water - always! Man committed wars in the Name of God, thereby killing millions of innocents; man committed adultery, the consequences of which were broken homes and hearts. Man skewed God's Word, the consequences of which are evidenced in the myriad "religions" of the world (most of which were borrowed from the Bible - such as the Raelian religion -- and then twisted to suit the new agenda). Man committed murders, rapes, robberies, "ethnic cleansing" and other crimes against humanity - However, God was only present in these acts from a distance; He was never a part of them because He gives us choices - choices to do it His way or Satan's way. Man chose to do all these things; man reaped the consequences. Granted, God has, and will continue to send one group against another in order to make His desired outcome for the world a reality (I believe right now He is sending the spirit of Islam against the world in order to make His end-time prophecies come true), but that is only because it is our punishment for having strayed from His Word, in the first place. Had we never strayed, we would not have had any of these tragedies. Remember, Adam and Eve "had it made" in the Garden of Eden. They CHOSE to go against God's wishes. That is the bottom line: Man had, and still does have, a choice to either follow God, or to follow God's adversary, Satan. It seems that most people, including you with your human mindset which doesn't resembles God's desire in the least, have chosen the latter. Yep, you're right in your assertion that God's writings were distorted somewhat. They were distorted from one translation to another, and sometimes deliberately by people who wanted to add their own little human twist --especially the Catholic Bible, some of which has been proven false because it was historically and geographically incorrect. However, the bottom line is, Bible was God-breathed, given to His chosen prophets to write down as He purposed and, although written over several hundred years, the characters, events, and geographic locations fit together like perfect pieces of a puzzle, from Genesis to the Book of Revelation. The main thing that has never been distorted is God's original commandments (His Torah which outlines how we are to live), and that God the Father sent His Son to die for us so that we might have everlasting life. Despite some mistranslations, obody has ever been successful in disproving the Bible, although many have tried. I find it extremely arrogant of you to assume that, "The only solution…is for all the old and new religious texts from traditional religions and religious minorities to be censored so as to expurgate from them all writings that do not respect Human Rights and Laws of democratic countries or encourage hatred and violence." Who died and made you God? (Oh, excuse me, the "Elohim" whom nobody besides you has ever seen….) There is only one word that accurately describes that statement: POPPYCOCK! Out of one side of your mouth you teach tolerance, peace, and complete freedom of religion and choice; and out of the other, you say that traditional religions and religious minorities should be censored. How hypocritical can you get? It isn't religions that have caused all the problems of the world, but MAN and his carnal, human, limited, hypocritical and arrogant mindset! YOU yourself are a perfect example of this. To wit: Yours -- like every other so-called "religion" in this world - originated by stealing words, names, and scriptures from the Bible, and then twisted them to suit their own agendas! This is no surprise since the Bible warns that in the end times:
You, Mr. Vorilhon, fit the above description perfectly! Not only do you resemble Yeshua (Jesus) in some of your pictures, with that angelic, dreamy and peaceful countenance -- but you also seem to want everyone to believe you are a god. In an August 1999 speech you said: "….Daniel also said earlier that I was the Messenger of the Elohim. If I was only that, I would be a bit disappointed. I was the Messenger of the Elohim from 1973 to 1975, and the second encounter (1975) literally transformed me, without any merit, into a Messenger of Infinity. And this is so much more enthusiastic because the Elohim themselves are nothing but Messengers of Infinity who are conscious of Infinity as it is their Religion - it should also become ours… it is becoming ours." So, here we have a man-god who gracing us with his presence, but he also appeals to our basic, human mindsets with "ear-tickling" messages about finding one's sensuality and sexuality (be it heterosexual or homosexual), while urging us to meditate and concentrate on ourselves and "become one with the universe", etc. - a complete antitheses to what YHVH/Yeshua tell us in the Bible (I'm sure a learned scientist such as yourself has heard of the Ten Commandments….). You believe that, "nowadays, human beings are immersed in permanent suffering caused by the abhoring and obsolete rules of society." You even tell us that, should we make a "mistake", such as an unwanted pregnancy, abortion is a perfectly viable option -- which means your "religion" condones murder, even though you teach respect and consideration for all human beings. Sounds like a little contradiction, to me. You also advocate "the accomplishment of the individual, whether it be individual or in a social group," and laud the "Messages that invite us to think of models of society which put the system and technologies at the service of Man, so that he/she can finally dedicate him/herself to what he/she was conceived for: To think, to create, to blossom, to love, to seek pleasure with the utmost respect for others." What noble - and very human aspirations! The true God of the Universe abhors self-centeredness.... You are pro-science and anti-religion (especially when it comes to the God of the Bible), thereby appealing to the lost masses who don't like the idea of God:
It is so blatantly obvious to me that you, like so many other self-proclaimed gurus, manage to "hook" people with half-truths. You are right when you say that religion and superstition are the same, as most religions are compilations of twisted Bible scripture mixed with man's personal ideas of who God should be and how He should be worshipped. But when it comes to the God of the Bible, your statement is rendered a bald-faced lie, as there is nothing superstitious about believing in the true Creator of the universe. If you truly had a relationship with God, and if you truly KNEW the Bible, not only would you understand and comprehend this; you would fall on your face to beg forgiveness! It's clear that the "idiots" you refer to who "constantly cry against science or any form of progress" are the Christians who call attention to the Ten Commandments whenever one of God's Laws are being broken - such as abortion, or cloning, etc. Science has done mankind a world of good, but when it goes against God's Laws, it must be "nipped in the bud". God, not man (and yes, that includes YOU), is in charge. He said "don't kill", "don't commit adultery", "don't lie" and "don't steal" -- and that's exactly what He meant, as there are grave consequences whenever one perpetrates these "don'ts". The things you teach, including open sexuality, is the kind of thinking that has reaped mankind the agonies of AIDS, herpes, and other incurable STDs. Had we kept pure and monogamous, like God instructed, there would be no sexually transmitted diseases. (There also wouldn't be heartaches caused by adulterous affairs or rapes, etc.) Had we adhered to the "Thou shalt not kill or steal" commandments, there would be no reason for prisons. The bottom line is, The Ten Commandments are not "Ten Suggestions". We have reaped what we've sowed.... Science is good, but it is not the answer, Mr. Vorilhon. It will never become a "religion" and it will certainly never replace God and prayer, so you are seriously off the mark if you think that will ever happen. In closing, I would like to pose a few questions:
Last, but certainly not least, you say you were conceived on December 25, 1945. Funny, most people never mention the day they were conceived. However, since you did mention that date, I'd like to point out that every pagan sun god was born on December 25! (Yeshua, by the way, was NOT born on that day - on the pagan, man-made holiday of Christmas.) Plus, you hail from France, which just happens to be a part of the Bible-prophesied European Union. I invite you to check out the Bible to find out why that might be important.... Despite what I've said in this letter and my hopes that you will just drop silently out of sight, I am sure this world hasn't heard the last of you. Therefore, all I can do is pray that God is merciful and will show you the error of your ways so that you can repent of your terrible blasphemy before it's too late.
