The world is full of con artists, and the parents and grandmother of Terry Durham, "the Little Man of God" are perfect examples. Apparently seeing "dollar signs" when little Terry from Lauderdale Lakes Florida at age two began "ministering the word of God" his grandmother, Pastor Sharon D. Monroe, decided to ordain the child at age six, making him the youngest minister ever to be ordained.
Since then Terry has been headlined in 25 different newspapers in 400 cities; he has appeared on the Today Show, CNN, and Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN); and was also featured in Jet magazine, the National Enquirer and made the front cover of Beverly Thomas Success Magazine.
Videos of little Terry and other child "pastors" abound on the Internet. The problem is, nothing he nor any of the other little pastors say makes any real sense, as you can see in this video of Terry standing on a pier where the message consists not of the things Yeshua actually taught (the Kingdom of God, obedience to His Torah which commands the keeping of the Seventh Day Sabbath and the Biblical Feasts).
All you hear from Terry is the repetitive mantra (amidst much passionate display of emotions and body language and heavy breathing after every sentence - presented, of course, in the typical "southern preacher" accent) about how "Jee-zus saves!" None of the You Tube appearances show Terry ever calling our Savior by His given Name of Yeshua - the only name our Savior ever heard while He walked this Earth; nor do you hear Terry explain that believers are to emulate Jee-zus and the things He taught....Things that a true "Chosen One" of God would know and teach!
Another interesting phenomenon is that Terry Durham likes to "heal" people. And, of course, like in every other meeting where "faith healing" is being performed, the people being touched or bopped in the forehead by Terry Durham always fall backwards and are usually caught by some by-stander....Those who know their Scriptures can attest to the fact that there is not one instance in the entire Bible where ANYONE who "receives the Holy Spirit" or is touched by God in some way, falls backwards in a dead faint; those who are in the Presence of the Lord always prostrate themselves or "fall on their faces"....And that, in itself, reveals that something other than "the Holy Spirit" is present in Terry Durham's services!
Be that as it may, money is the obvious goal of the Terry Durham Ministries, as indicated by the words of Terry's father, Todd Durham who, during one television interview announced: "Joel (Osteen) is at 76 [million dollars a year] — one day I am hoping that Terry will be at about $86 million. So you know ministries are profiting these days. Everyone is buying into this."
And there you have it, straight from the proverbial horse's mouth. Poor young Terry is being exploited! The ministry already has a fully operational marketing arm and Terry’s sermons are offered for sale along with T-shirts, Web videos, even pin-up photos.
"We do not charge no money for him to preach," said Grandmother Monroe. "We only ask them if, you know, after he speaks, they let the crowd bless him."
Certainly the crowd "wants to bless him!" Wherever there is a scam, you can bet that gullible people are falling for it! And this is all because most people DO NOT know God or the Scriptures, and they apparently aren't bright enough to even bother asking: "Does what this kid is saying line up with the Bible?"
2 Peter 2: 1. But in the world there have been also false prophets, as there will likewise be false teachers among you who will bring in destructive heresies denying Master YHWH that bought them; thus bringing on themselves swift destruction.
Matthew 24: 11. And many false prophets will arise and deceive many. 12. And because of the growth of iniquity, the love of many will grow cold....
Forcing children into the ministry at an early age is nothing new. Please check out this old video about Marjoe Gortner from the Forties, who was pressured into preaching by his mother who even had certain signals for him if he wasn't preaching forceful enough, or preaching too slow, etc. In this next video he reveals as an adult that he was a fraud.

It is a sad fact that today millions of Christians are ready to reach deep into their pockets for practically anyone who presents ear-tickling, nonsensical sermons full of "fluff". Rare is the Christian who can see through the religiosity and the chanting and babbling and JUNK that flows from the mouths of most preachers!

Today, most believers are sitting around God's swimming pool with their big toes in the water, never thinking to dive in and see what the Scriptures are really all about. For most Christians it's all about, "Jesus loves you and He'll save you, and don't bother me with any other facts!"
By the way, we wrote to Terry's grandmother's ministry to request email correspondence with little Terry in order to test his Bible knowledge. So far, there's been no response....
Folks, unless a "preacher" is proclaiming the Kingdom of God, complete with belief in Yeshua haMashiyach AND His Torah, their proclamations are from Satan....
