Dear Refiner's Fire...

You fellows have been trying to change and destroy Judaism for almost 2,000 years. It is your obsession. You made up a 'new' oral Torah a 'new' written Torah a 'new' Jewish people with 'new' commandments and say that this is what G-d really intended.

Jews believe only in the Creator, the Torah with it's explanations that were given on Mt. Sinai and the Commandments therein. You try to abolish all three.

Someone once said that you worship a suffering Jew and are therefore devoted to try to make as many Jews suffer as possible.

Why can't you just leave Jews alone and believe your own religion? Why???

The answer is that as long as there is even one Jew that believes in Judaism it is a living proof that your religion is untrue ..... and it drives you crazy.

What is true Judaism?

The first of the Ten Commandments is "I am G-d that took you from Egypt" the second is "Don't believe in any other G-ds" JC did not take the Jews from Egypt. It is forbidden to worship him.

In fact it is forbidden to worship ANY Jew .. even though all of them are the sons of G-d (Ex 4:22).

The forth commandment says something else about G-d: that He is the Creator. He creates all being... spiritual and physical... constantly. And it is forbidden to worship ANYTHING (no matter how spiritual) other than Him.

Please leave the Jews alone. Messiah is not to be prayed to... he will be a Jew that strengthens Judaism and not one who tries to re-define it. (according to you there is nothing wrong with intermarriage, with eating blood or forbidden foods, or even idolatry (as long as it's JC you pray to)) all of which are the opposite of what G-d said explicitly in the Torah.

Wake up!!! Worship ONLY the G-d that is creating you... He loves you... He will answer all your prayers... He creates the entire world... He 'personally' took the Jews out of Egypt and He will help you also if you believe ONLY in Him (and not a spirit, a son or a ghost no matter how good it seems)

Moshiach NOW!!

Sincerely, A friend

P.S. Please print this... perhaps ONE of your readers is really interested in the truth.

Our Response....

Since your e-mail address is from Ohr Tmimim, we're guessing that you are writing in response to our challenge to Ohr Tmimim: Is the Lubavitcher Rebbe the Messiah? If not, we would ask that you please read the article. It contains a lot of valuable and eye-opening information.

We understand your frustration, but please believe us when we say NOBODY is out to destroy Judaism. On the contrary, we are trying to show the world that the Netzarim faith is a continuation of Judaism. We are NOT your enemy; we are Jews just like you! The only difference is that we are "Messianic" believers who realize that our Messiah has already come.

YOU WROTE: You fellows have been trying to change and destroy Judaism for almost 2,000 years. It is your obsession. You made up a 'new' oral Torah a 'new' written Torah a 'new' Jewish people with 'new' commandments and say that this is what G-d really intended.

Trying to spread the Good News is not an obsession; it is out of a sincere desire to reveal the Truth to those who do not know it yet. Furthermore, Yeshua Himself commanded us to do this:

Mark 13:10 Indeed, the Good News has to be proclaimed first to all the Goyim.

Mark 16: 15 Then he said to them, "As you go throughout the world, proclaim the Good News to all creation. 16 Whoever trusts and is immersed will be saved; whoever does not trust will be condemned.

As for your comment about a "new oral Torah" - would you please show me the exact Scripture where God tells us that He gave us an "oral Torah"? The Bible tells us that Moshe wrote down EVERYTHING God said, which leaves no roon for anything "oral";

Exodus 24:3-7: "Moshe came and told the people everything Adonai had said, including all the rulings. The people answered with one voice: 'We will obey every word Adonai has spoken.' Moshe wrote down all the words of Adonai... Then he took the book of the covenant and read it aloud, so that the people could hear; and they responded, 'Everything that Adonai has spoken, we will do and obey.'"

Anything that evolved into an "oral Torah" came from the minds of the rabbis of old who bound God's people up so badly that even the Sabbath became a burden! Please read On Moshe, the "Oral Law", and the people's promise to obey God's Word.....

As for your comment that we have made a "'new' written Torah a 'new' Jewish people with 'new' commandments", you would have to explain what you mean, as Netzarim follow God's Torah, which includes keeping the seventh day Sabbath and the Biblical feasts.

YOU WROTE: Jews believe only in the Creator, the Torah with it's explanations that were given on Mt. Sinai and the Commandments therein. You try to abolish all three.

That allegation is completely false. Netzarim believe ONLY in the Creator, as well, along with Torah and God's Commandments. The difference is: We don't put God in a box and understand that He truly is ECHAD - a plurality who has revealed Himself as a "burning bush", a "pillar of cloud", a "pillar of fire", spoken through a donkey, and sent an aspect of Himself to earth in the form of a human being. We realize that YHWH promised us a New Covenant, and He KEPT that promise through Yeshua HaMaschiach who was foreshadowed throughout the Tanach and brought to fulfillment in the Brit Chadashah. What you are doing by squelching the Truth of Yeshua - the Truth that is so clearly evident and right in front of your nose - is, in essence, making God out to be a liar! He sent His "Son" so that man could better identify and understand the things of God and to teach us how to worship God properly. He sent His "Son" - a DIVINE being who lowered Himself to be "one of us" - to offer Himself as the final SIN Sacrifice, which put an end to animal sacrifices once and for all, bringing to fulfillment the "New Covenant". Is it really that much easier to believe - as Ohr Tmimim does - that the long-dead Rabbi Schneerson is Messiah, even though he clearly did NOT fulfill the prophecies about Messiah as outlined in the Bible?

The term "moshiach" literally means "the anointed one," and refers to the ancient practice of anointing kings with oil when they took the throne. The word "messiah" was used 39 times in the tanach. But GOD'S "Messiah", was:

  • the Son He promised to send us (Isaiah Isaiah 9:6-7).

  • to be God within a man (Zechariah 12:10-11);

  • to die before the 2nd Temple was destroyed (Daniel 9:24-27);

  • to bring salvation to the world (Isaiah 59:16-20);

  • to perform miracles (Isaiah 35:5-6);

  • and to be raised from the dead (Psalm 16:10, Isaiah 53:10) to name just a few.

Did Rabbi Schneerson fulfill ANY of the above?

YESHUA fulfilled ALL of these, and MORE! He realized that Torah was God's original teaching and instruction and that without it, man would never know the definition of sin. Torah was a GOOD thing! But, Torah - which required works - ended upon man's death; it did not provide passage into heaven. Yeshua's blood, on the other hand, atoned for all our sins forever! As he told us in Matthew 5, He did not come to abolish Torah; on the contrary, He established/confirmed it and became the LIVING Torah:

Matthew 5: 17 Don’t think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete. 18 Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud or a stroke will pass from the Torah – not until everything that must happen has happened.

There are at least 48 "Dead-On Prophecies" about Yeshua in the Old Covenant that were fulfilled in the New Covenant! He has even fulfilled the first four Biblical Feasts!

YOU WROTE: Someone once said that you worship a suffering Jew and are therefore devoted to try to make as many Jews suffer as possible.

Whoever said that is a very lost person. Quite the contrary: We WANT ALL Jews to have eternal life! Ask yourself this: Since there has been no temple for two thousand years, what are you doing to atone for sin these days? Swinging a dead chicken above your head on Yom Kippur? Sounds like a little like voodoo! It is significant that to this day many Orthodox Jews kill a rooster or chicken on the Day of Atonement and offer it as an atoning substitutionary sacrifice on their behalf. Despite the Rabbinic teaching that prayer has replaced sacrifice, they still feel the need to offer a blood sacrifice on Yom Kippur. Well, they could save themselves a lot of trouble if they realized that Yeshua IS that Sacrifice!

John 14: 6 Yeshua said, "I AM the Way - and the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. 7 Because you have known me, you will also know My Father; from now on, you do know him - in fact, you have seen him." 8 Philip said to him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it will be enough for us." 9 Yeshua replied to him, "Have I been with you so long without your knowing me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'? 10 Don't you believe that I am united with the Father, and the Father united with me? What I am telling you, I am not saying on my own initiative; the Father living in me is doing his own works."

YOU WROTE: Why can't you just leave Jews alone and believe your own religion? Why??? The answer is that as long as there is even one Jew that believes in Judaism it is a living proof that your religion is untrue ..... and it drives you crazy.

Nobody is forcing you to see the Truth! The Refiner's Fire simply challenged your belief that the "Lubavitcher Rebbe" is the Messiah, because it's ludicrous to believe that a mere HUMAN can be the Messiah. We've presented you with the Truth. Whether you choose to believe it or not is up to you.

YOU WROTE: What is true Judaism? The first of the Ten Commandments is "I am G-d that took you from Egypt" the second is "Don't believe in any other G-ds". JC did not take the Jews from Egypt. It is forbidden to worship him. In fact it is forbidden to worship ANY Jew .. even though all of them are the sons of G-d (Ex 4:22).

Oh, but "JC" DID take the Jews out of Egypt! He was ALWAYS a part of YHWH, the ECHAD Deity:

John 1:1-3: 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 All things came to be through him; and without him nothing made had being.

Yeshua, as the word of God incarnate, is now the standard bearer. Moshe is no longer the steward, thereby fulfilling the prophecy of Deuteronomy 18: "I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him. If anyone does not listen to my words that 'THE' prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account."

Furthermore, Isaiah 9:6 states that the Messiah will be called Mighty God. Jeremiah 23:5-6 indicates the Messiah will be called Lord. Zechariah 12:10-11 says the Messiah will be God within a man....

Please know, we are NOT worshiping a human but, rather, the Deity that Yeshua represented. As an aspect of God (since YHWH was obviously still in charge of the whole universe from His place in heaven - something that is hard for us to fathom via our limited, human mindsets) Yeshua was God Incarnate while on earth. The only difference was that, instead of a pillar of cloud or fire, He was in the form of a man. Please see Netzarim Jews Are Not Idolators.

YOU WROTE: Please leave the Jews alone.

Who's bothering "the Jews"? We have the right (not to mention, the direct command from GOD!) to spread the Good News. If you don't like my website, plese feel free to stay off of it.

Nowhere in Scripture are we told to pray to Yeshua. He Himself told us how to pray to the Father in His name (Luke 11.1-4). In fact if you are praying to anyone other than the Father in the name of Yeshua, our kaporah (sacrifice), you are praying amiss. Yeshua DID strengthen Judaism. It's all outlined in the New Testament....

YOU WROTE: (According to you there is nothing wrong with inter-marriage, with eating blood or forbidden foods, or even idolatry (as long as it's JC you pray to)) all of which are the opposite of what G-d said explicitly in the Torah.

You obviously have NO CLUE as to what Netzarim Judaism is all about and are simply making unfounded, unproven allegations and uneducated guesses....

YOU WROTE: Wake up!!! Worship ONLY the G-d that is creating you... He loves you... He will answer all your prayers... He creates the entire world... He 'personally' took the Jews out of Egypt and He will help you also if you believe ONLY in Him (and not a spirit, a son or a ghost no matter how good it seems)

We ARE worshiping the God who Created us - and He has, and certainly is answering our prayers. We pray that YOU will wake up to the Truth of Messiah. For more information, please read: Why Don't more Jews Accept Yeshua?
