The hallmark of false teachers: "If you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with a load of what horses drop!" Unfortunately, these types are successful because people don't bother to check the Scriptures for themselves....

Jeremiah 17: 5 Here is what ADONAI says: "A curse on the person who trusts in humans, who relies on merely human strength, whose heart turns away from ADONAI. 6 He will be like a tamarisk in the 'Aravah - when relief comes, it is unaffected; for it lives in the sun-baked desert, in salty, uninhabited land. 7 Blessed is the man who trusts in ADONAI; ADONAI will be his security.

Scripture amply warns us about false teachers and prophets....

False teachers and prophets are people who either want us to believe they are the Messiah, or "special" disciples, prophets or apostles who have "new knowledge" about God or the Bible to impart to the world - even though what they espouse doesn't line up with the Bible. Especially heinous are the "prophets" and "date setters" who insist the "rapture" is going to occur on a certain date, etc., and those who have visions "from Jesus" telling the world to repent or risk hell - things we already know, packaged in new verbiage. Click here for just one example.

False teachers also include those "believers" who twist the scriptures to suit their own agendas, such as the nonsense espoused by a website called Questioning Paul which has totally taken out of context EVERYTHING Paul ever said; or the pro-homosexual website, Why Would We? which asks the question: "Would Jesus Discriminate?" and suggests that Jesus ministered to "gays" and that God condones homosexuality! The problem is, many actually fall for the unbiblical nonsense of scheisters like these....

Jeremiah 14: 14 YHWH replied, "The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I didn't send them, order them or speak to them. They are prophesying false visions to you, worthless divinations, the delusions of their own minds....

Matthew 22: 14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

In other words: Not everyone receives "special words" or revelations from God! We must not listen to people who espouse strange things that do not line up with the Bible. We are to confront those types to let them know they are off the path and, if ultimately they refuse to heed, ignore them and put them out of your life for good, for they do NOT belong to Yahweh; they are working for the enemy....

Matthew 18: 16. And if he does not listen to you, take with you one or two others, because of the mouth of two or three witnesses, every word is established. 17. And if he will also not listen to them, tell the congregation. And if he will also not listen to the congregation, let him be to you like a tax collector and like a heathen.

The problem is, many get their "Eureka!" moments from off-the-mark websites created by other Christians who found their way to Torah (or by Jews who have "found Jesus"), and suddenly, we have the blind leading the blind - and they will fight you to the death to shove their respective views down the world's collective throat, regardless as to how many scriptures they are presented to prove them wrong. These people simply are NOT willing to listen to reason, no matter what you say or do, because they believe they already "know it all."

Corinthians 1:17-31: But Elohim has chosen the foolish ones of the world to shame the wise; and He has chosen the weak ones of the world to shame the mighty; and He has chosen those of humble birth in the world, and the despised, and them who are nothing, to bring to nothing them who are something: So that no flesh might glory before him.. And you, moreover, are of him in Y'shua Mashiyach; who has become to us wisdom from Elohim, and righteousness and separateness, and salvation: According to that which is written: "He that glorifies in himself, let him glory in our Master (Y'shua)." (Aramaic English New Testament)

False teachers and prophets in the Messianic "Movement"

False teachers and prophets can also be found in the Messianic faith which lately seems to be destroying itself from the inside out, thanks to certain teachers and "rabbis" and their myriad followers who have found their way to Torah and suddenly believe themselves to have the market cornered on Truth, and will pummel anyone who dares to disagree. These men - most of whom seem to be "in it for the money" - are teaching their respective opinions instead of scriptural TRUTH, and so we just want to warn you to weigh against Scripture everything you see, read or hear and never blindly follow any man!

Most of these Messianic teachers concentrate on the dangerous "two-house" belief - which has basically attracted a cult-like following that has concentrated ALL it's efforts on genealogy, over and above anything else in the Bible. "Two house" suggests that all believing Gentiles belong to the Tribe of Ephraim - which totally negates the fact that the Bible tells us we are ONE in Messiah and places more emphasis on "heritage" than on "salvation through grace". Some even teach - as is evidenced on Hebraic Heritage Ministries International - that only "Ephraim" will go to heaven:

"Ephraim is a spiritual picture of the bride of Christ. The word Ephraim is the Strong's word 669. The Hebrew word, Ephraim, means "double fruit". Being exceedingly fruitful was a promise that God made to Abraham concerning his seed (Genesis 17:6). Being exceedingly fruitful can only be accomplished through the help of the Holy Spirit. Jesus prayed that His followers would be exceedingly fruitful (John 15:8). All believers who accept Jesus as Messiah and are exceedingly fruitful will be the bride of Christ. These believers would consist of both physical Jews and non-Jews and would include Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and David."

"Those Christians who are not exceedingly fruitful have the characteristic of Manasseh. Manasseh is the Strong's word 4519. The Hebrew word, Manasseh means "forgetful". Manasseh is prophetic of those believers who "forget" to love God with all their heart, mind, soul and strength and do not grow to spiritual maturity and are not exceedingly fruitful for the kingdom of God. Manasseh is a spiritual picture of those believers who will be in heaven but will not be the Bride of Christ. "Ephraim is a spiritual picture of those believers who will be in heaven and will be the Bride of Christ."

Some also teach that God condones polygyny while others insist Y'shua was NOT YHWH in the Flesh, and still others market themselves as prophets - even though they have a history of failed prophecies.

Boaz Michael from First Fruits of Zion recently "did a 180" and is now teaching that Gentiles are not obligated to bother with Torah. This totally goes against what YHWH said:

Numbers 15: 13 "'Everyone who is native-born must do these things in this way when he brings an offering made by fire as an aroma pleasing to the LORD. 14 For the generations to come, whenever an alien or anyone else living among you presents an offering made by fire as an aroma pleasing to the LORD, he must do exactly as you do. 15 The community is to have the same rules for you and for the alien living among you; this is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come. You and the alien shall be the same before the LORD: 16 The same laws and regulations will apply both to you and to the alien living among you.'

One of the saddest things about these Messianic teachers is that they have resorted to anti-Torah tactics when disagreeing with their brethren. Instead of employing the Matthew 18 method of taking a couple of witnesses to confront their accusers, they don't even bother warning their perceived enemies before posting vicious lashon hara (gossip) on their respective blogs, YouTube videos or radio programs. You'll know these men when you come across them. They stand out like sore thumbs!

Believers, PLEASE continue to be be aware of lying signs and wonders provided by the many false teachers and "prophets" of today, and begin reading the Bible IN CONTEXT! Stop following "man" and start following Yahweh our Elohim and His Divine Son, Yeshua. Nothing else matters. If something doesn't line up perfectly with the Bible, then it isn't of God. Satan is busy deceiving because he knows how The Book ends!!!

Beware of the prophet, priest or pastor with a personal stake in the subject of his/her prophecy or proclamation! Don't ever blindly believe anybody! Always verify against Scripture EVERYTHING you see, read or hear!

The following articles represent just a TINY sampling of the junk that is being taught by those who either don't realize they're off the mark, or are deliberately out to deceive the world. Our intention for exposing them is NOT to be "mean"; but, rather, to show everyone how and why these people are off the mark when it comes to God and the Bible, so that you can begin learning to detect what to watch out for.

2 Peter 2: 1. But in the world there have been also false prophets, as there will likewise be false teachers among you who will bring in destructive heresies denying Master YHWH that bought them; thus bringing on themselves swift destruction.

Matthew 24: 24. For false Messiahs and lying prophets will arise and they will produce signs and great wonders in order to deceive if possible even the chosen.

1 Timothy 1: 5. Now the goal of the command is love which is from a pure heart and from a good conscience and from true Faith. 6. But from these some have strayed and have turned aside to vain words; 7. because they wished to be teachers of Torah, while they understood not what they speak, nor the thing about which they contend. 8. Now we know, that Torah is a good thing if a man conduct himself in it according to Torah; 9. he knowing that Torah was not established for the righteous but for the evil and the rebellious, and those without Elohim, and the sinful, and the perverse and for the impure, and for smiters of their fathers and smiters of their mothers, and for murderers, 10. and for sexual sinners and for copulators with males, and for the stealers of free people, and for liars, and for violators of oaths, and for whatever is contrary to sound doctrine.

2 Timothy 4:3-4: For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.

Matthew 24: 11 Many false prophets will appear and fool many people; 12 and many people's love will grow cold because of increased distance from Torah. 13 But whoever holds out till the end will be delivered. 14 And this Good News about the Kingdom will be announced throughout the whole world as a witness to all the Goyim. It is then that the end will come.

Matthew 7: 20 "...So you will recognize them by their fruit. 21 Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord!' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, only those who do what my Father in heaven wants. 22 On that Day, many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord! Didn't we prophesy in your name? Didn't we expel demons in your name? Didn't we perform many miracles in your name?' 23 Then I will tell them to their faces, 'I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!'...."
